    Leave the car at home.

You've experienced the frustration of battling overcrowded highways and negotiating constant construction on your daily drive to work. Alleviate this painful ordeal once and for all with the pedal-friendly design of the Arc'teryx Men's A2B Commuter Pant. This commuter pant effortlessly pedals to work, the local coffee shop, and downtown pubs alike, thanks to its stretch-woven fabric. It's tailored with a trim fit that's both thoroughly modern and sleek enough to prevent chain snags. This streamlined fit is complemented with articulated patterning that allows for unrestricted pedaling.

Not only is the A2B Commuter Pant streamlined and stretchy, but just as importantly, it repels rain showers and dries quickly with its Schoeller 3XDRY technology. This means you'll arrive at work looking and feeling fresh, even if you're subjected to light rain and road spray. It's equipped with reflective hits on the underside of the cuffs and fold-out reflectors along the back pockets, allowing you to stay visible in low-light conditions while tucking away once you're finished riding for a more casual aesthetic.

    • Dedicated commuter pants for riding to work
    • Stretch-woven fabric conforms to every pedal stroke
    • Schoeller 3XDRY repels rain and speeds up drying time
    • Fold-out reflectors on back pockets for added visibility
    • Cuff reflectors visible only when the bottoms are folded up
    • Roomy hand pockets and zippered cargo pocket along thigh
    • Item #ARC00NB

    Changed product same name

I have several pairs of the a2b chinos and the old version of the a2b commuters. I commute on my bike every day and wear these whenever the weather permits (not below 30℉)These pants are more similar fit to the a2b chino with a newer material that has more stretch. These pants are much slimmer fit, almost skinny fit. The old model was a more relaxed fit with snaps on the cuffs to keep the cuff out of the chain. These are tight enough that they do not need the snaps on the cuffs. I like the new material as it has more stretch and is comfortable. The previous Commuter material was stiffer and thicker which wore better and was more durable (in the crotch) than the Chino which was more cotton. The new version has the short crotch/zipper which requires unbuttoning the pants to use the restroom which previous reviewers complained about, but does not really bother me. Not a big deal to take an extra few seconds. I like the product and recommend them, just be aware that the fit is tighter than the a2b chino and much tighter than the previous a2b commuter. They should have changed the name to reflect how different the product is.
On all of the models, the zippered pocket on the leg is perfect for my phone and card key.

What can I say, I own 4 pairs of these pants when they first came out. Dressy and durable, fits well and good in various climates. Stretches in the correct places and comfortable. So, here is why my rating is only 3 stars. As much as I love Arcteryx, they changed these pants and kept the name.
