    Zeta LT Jacket

Long approaches through coastal rainforests are typical of backpacking trips in coastal BC and Alaska, and it's those rugged and wet landscapes that the Arc'teryx Men's Zeta LT Jacket was designed for. The jacket implements a lightweight and compressible design, so it won't eat up too much pack space, but with a Gore-Tex Pro three-layer shell, fully sealed seams, and an Arc'teryx Nu water repellent finish, the jacket doesn't compromise an ounce of weather protection.

    • Light, packable rain shell designed for trekking and backpacking
    • Gore-Tex gives waterproof, breathable protection
    • C-Knit backer enhances breathability for active endeavors
    • Three-layer construction enhances packability and durability
    • Adjustments at hood, hem, and cuffs ensure secure coverage
    • Item #ARC00BV

    Amazing jacket and spectacular shipping!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: XL
    • Height: 6'0"
    • Weight: 210lbs

My husband reminded me that his old Arc'teryx had given out after ten years - right before our hiking trip to Portugal. I had to get something quickly and this came in one day . The jacket is once again spot on and I was thrilled with the delivery time.

    Great sleek rain layer

Got this for my brother who lives in Chicago, so he was looking for something dude-chic but also outdoorsy. He loves it, it fit super well, the fabric has been durable and great so far!

      Great Rain Jacket

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Height: 6'4"
      • Weight: 180lbs

I purchased this as a lightweight rain jacket. It is very high quality, a little stiff, but still comfortable in warmer weather over a short-sleeve shirt, for example. Arc'teryx makes a couple other versions that are even lighter if you are looking something minimalist, but I like this as an option that is very durable, completely waterproof, but still pretty light. Great all around rain jacket. I expect that it will last a long time for both hiking and everyday use. I am normally between a medium and a large, but a medium was quite roomy; so, it may run slightly large.

      Great product

I gave this as a gift but have feedback to share.
I usually wear medium, but small fit much better. The jacket has a great feel to it – far less stiff than a typical Gore-Tex shell. Actually comfortable to wear with just a t-shirt. Have only worn it in two snow storms – mild ones, but layered well and kept everything dry. So far, I love it!

      Great design and fit

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: Large
      • Height: 6'1"
      • Weight: 185lbs

I had to return the medium for a large. If you're using the jacket in warm temperatures with a light shirt layer underneath you could get away with medium. However, I use the rain gear in cooler climates where I have a warm under layer - example Iceland I need to throw the jacket on at a waterfall or chilly rain and wind.
I think it runs true to size. If you need it as a "shell" for colder weather get one size up.

The is the best rain jacket material I've ever encountered, keeps your dry but doesn't heat you up or feel slimy or like plastic inside. Regular price is kind of ridiculous, definitely a luxury item even if you find a sale, but far and away the best lightweight jacket I've ever seen. Fits a little big for my taste. I'm 6'1" 180, I'm usually a medium or a large. I went down to a small and I'm happy with the fit. I don't have a gut, but it is snug around the waistline, that seems to be the most tailored part of the jacket.

Loved it, had to return it.

It looked and felt great while appearing to be of solid construction, however the fit just didn't work for me. Perhaps if I were a little larger in the chest and arms it would have been perfect, however I can't pay this price for a product that fits me poorly. Would be a great product for the person who it fit properly, However the price is obviously higher than I think most find reasonable, they could probably sell more at a lower price point.

      FYI: I'm 5'10'' 175lbs.

Chest ended up being a bit baggy and the sleeves 2'' too long for me. Waist circumference was perfect and length at back was just about perfect, maybe an inch longer than my ideal, which might sort itself out on someone with bulkier shoulders..

      I hope this helps.

      Fantastic fit

I am 5'10" 185 lbs with a 42" chest and 30" waist. It is difficult to find tips that don't look like trash bags on me, so finding a shell was quite the task. I tried on five or six different arc'teryx jackets before this one, and they all seemed to need to be a small to fit my waist, but were tight at the armpit. The waist cinch on this jacket nailed it. Arms were plenty long, and the sleeve Velcro fit great around my tiny wrists. For an oddly shaped body, this jacket was great for me!

Looks great, feels great, sizing didn't

Tried on this jacket and feels quality and durable. However, it felt too baggy. Additionally, the sleeves were far too long. Ended up returning it.

Awesome jacket...but didn't work for me

Looking for a fall hiking/camping and winter shell jacket. I have a hard time finding jackets that fit. I'm 6'4" 170lbs 39 chest long arms. I can usually get away with Arcteryx large as long as it's slim fit. Not this jacket. I was really swimming in it, even with a few layers. I purchased the medium but that was too tight with a midweight and too restrictive in the armpits. It's really too bad because it is a really nice looking and feeling jacket (love the gore C-Knit)and knowing it is Arcteryx, it would have performed exceptionally. Also it is not as crinklely as most hard shells. I think I will look into Norrona based on a couple gearhead suggestions.

Exactly what I was looking for

I have been looking for this jacket for at least a year, and didn't even realize it was the one till I stumbled on it. At a glance it appears to be a mix between Gore active shell and the 40d lightweight pro shell. I just wanted an all arounder rain shell, but couldn't live with the short fit of the beta series. This fit nails it for me, at 6'3" and 185 the large trim fit still leaves room for a nano puff easy. Without a layer the jacket fits great, so that was the real selling point for me. It also packs down super small and weighs next to nothing. Durability would be my only question but it doesn't feel any flimsier on the surface than the same denier in pro, but I realize the backer is less robust.
