Tights Tougher Than The Weather And Your Workout.

Don’t let the soggy fall rain get in the way of getting your sweat on. The Arc’teryx Trino Tights withstand fierce wind and sleety showers while you work out. No one likes to train with numb knees, and these tights will make sure you won’t have to. With Gore Windstopper on the front of these pants, you don’t have to deal light rain, gusty conditions, falling temperatures, or whatever the weather throws your way. Your movements won’t be restricted, either, because the Trinos have flexible and breathable Atreus fabric on the back to alleviate heat and keep you moving smoothly.

    • Weatherproof pants for harsh workouts in harsh conditions
    • Stretchy fabric so you can move freely
    • Moisture- and wind-resistant fabric keeps you dry and warm
    • Ventilating backside so you don’t get too warm or sweaty
    • Zippered pockets to hold the little things while you do big things
    • Adjustable waistband for comfortable layering
    • Item #ARC00K3

    Short waisted

    • Size Bought: XL
    • Height: 5'4"
    • Weight: 175lbs

Definitely not for an older woman’s body. I ordered the XL for snow shoeing and I’m 5’4” and. The are about 4” too long in length and very short waisted. Needless to say they are being returned.

    as comfortable as pajamas

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: xs
    • Height: 5'3"
    • Weight: 126lbs

I have worn these hiking in rain and felt warm and dry. I got home and forgot to take them off, because they are so comfortable. They are more a pant than a tight. On me they are long but they fold up fine. They are low waisted and loose but don't fall down. They feel too small to wear tights underneath but feel very loose worn alone. The bottoms of the legs unzip to help getting on and off.

Best all around winter training pant

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These pants are great for a variety of winter activities in the mountains including running, snowshoeing, skate skiing, and hiking. They are light, breathable, and super flexible. They can be worn from trail to store to work comfortably and are not too tight. The flexible waist band sits below the navel and has a draw string offering plenty of breathing room and comfort. I purchased these pants because I have had the arcteryx softshell vest for a couple of years and love it for skateskiing and running and was hoping for the perfect all-around reliable combination - and indeed it is!

    In love with these!

I recently relocated from the south to the upper Midwest, and needless to say was not well-equipped for the winters up here. So I researched how to layer and landed on these pants. I wanted a slimmer fit pant, so I went with these. And they have been a game-changer! It’s too cold to wear them alone, but they’re great worn over a good base layer pant. They seem to be pretty windproof and water resistant, but I wouldn’t say waterPROOF... super wet snow got on the seats of our golf cart and although I could wipe it off, the seats were still wet. I could feel the moisture seeping through after so long. But other than that, these have been so wonderful. I wear them every time I venture outside and let me just say, I have never broken a sweat building a snowman until I invested in the right gear... and these have been a staple part of that investment!

      Bring on the cold

My wife bought these pants, here’s her review:
I have used a pair of windproof Patagonia pants for the last couple years as my cold weather pants for hiking and trail running. They’re good, but not ideal for super snowy, stormy days. I finally took the plunge on these after my husband endorsed the men’s version. The fit is comfortable and the soft shell material is going to offer more protection and insulation from snow and wet weather. I’m always cold so I’ll likely still throw a layer on under these for really cold days, but I don’t think you’d have to.

      So Dang Good

My wife and I both have a pair of these. She wears them biking, hiking, running, and just around the house. She tells me daily how they are her favorite pants. I love mine and mostly use them on cooler days biking with a thin base layer. I also use them as my base layer when skiing. They are super warm and dry very fast. I will always own a pair. I just wish they had bigger and more pockets.
