    Trino Tight

When your alarm goes off in the dark hour before sunset, roll out of bed and into the Arc'teryx Men's Trino Tight to stay warm and dry during your winter run. Rain, sleet, snow, and an unrelenting wind are all no match for the Windstopper front panels and stretchy Atreus rear panels on the Trino, which come with a DWR finish to repel water so a chill doesn't send you home before you get your mileage in. The fabric breathes exceptionally well as you sweat, and articulated knees provide a full range of motion so you can maintain the form you worked so hard fine tuning over the summer. Flatlock seaming keeps chafing at a minimum, while two hidden hip pockets accommodate small essentials like keys and cash for a post-run coffee.

    • Tight keeps you warm and dry while you log winter base miles
    • Windstopper front panels block wind and repel water
    • Stretchy back Atreus panels block water and add thermal insulation
    • Tailored cut and articulated knees preserve freedom of movement
    • Ankle zipper helps makes getting dressed easier

    Great lightweight and stylish pants...

I just came from Lapland, Finland winter. I used this pant for driving long distances. As Landscape photographer I pull over from time to time while driving to go out of the car and get the shot/picture. Sometimes I take from 5-15 min to take the picture(set tripod, set filter, etc). I had no problem at all. Temperature where running between 20F and 0F. Love the slim cut, but roomy enough to but a base layer under.

    Not great for running

Returned mine after using extensively. Fabric is brilliant but the cut was binding while running, especially if doing any kind of speed work.

I bought these for fatbiking during upstate NY winters. I wanted something a little looser than tights so I could layer underneath in really cold weather, but I didn't want the overly baggy cut that most dedicated fat bike apparel brands make for the purpose. These are absolutely perfect. They're a slim cut, but not second-skin tight. And they're warm and windproof, but they do allow enough heat to escape that your legs don't end up soaked in sweat, even during pretty intense physical activity. They're not waterproof, but water does bead up off the front. The back can soak it up a bit, so if you were out in really wet snow that might be an issue. But I haven't had a problem so far. If I have a single complaint, it's that I wish the drawstring at the waist could be tied. It's just a loop that you can pull, and I assume the idea behind the design is that it will stay put when pulled tight. But at least for me that's not the case. This isn't really much of an issue because the waist isn't overly loose and they don't seem to want to sag. But a little more security would be appreciated. Still, overall I couldn't be happier with these.

    Tons of use

I bought these and have used them under ski pants as well as a stand alone piece. Not only do I love these pants, but now my high school boys are fighting about them and wear them all the time, from varsity and travel soccer practice in cold weather to weekends on town/around the house.

Thanks for the review! Love the feedback, always super helpful.

I use these for mountain biking, skiing, and snowshoeing. I've even used them under my ski pants as a base layer. They breath so well and are somewhat water resistant. I will always have a pair of these in my dresser. My wife has a pair too and absolutely loves them. She wears hers snowshoeing and just around the house everyday. I give her a hard time because she wears then 3-4 days a week! They are her go to pants after work too. They are that comfortable. Get some. You will not be disappointed. I have had all the Trino clothing from ArcTerx and it rocks. The beanie is absolutely amazing for high output in cold weather, too.

These pants are worth the sticker shock. I have never found the right pair of tights / pants for nasty, cold weather after years of trying. Any time I hiked or ran hard uphill, I'd sweat and accept it as inevitable. That's the price of protection, or so I thought. Not so with these tights. They dump heat in all the right ways and protect you from the elements with a comfortable, stretchy goretex on your quads and shins. They are very comfortable, enough so that I often find myself forgetting to change after a car ride back from the trailhead. They have a nice, slim cut and fit true to size. Kudos πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ to Arcteryx - these tights are amazing.

My boyfriend signed up for a marathon, which would require training in the middle of winter. His current outdoor running kit was not going to do the job so I got him these tights to prove to him that running outside doesn't have to suck. He usually would shy away from
