    Always remember to warm up.

The Arc'teryx Solita Women's Pant is all about helping you warm up before and cool down after your workouts. It's made of slightly stretchy Socora polyester taffeta that has a DWR coating and UPF-50+ sun protection to protect your skin from rain and sun, and has body-mapped articulation and a gusseted crotch for freedom of movement. The wide elastic waistband keeps your pants from slipping, and the 3/4-length side zips let you dump heat and change without taking off your shoes.

Fit is a little large and the pant legs are kind of wide. The zippers are great and there's no tugging. They are very light weight and the pants don't impede movement which is awesome. Took these up a little hike in the mountains with a base layer. It started snowing and I was really impressed with the water resistance with these. Didn't get wet at all when I should have been soaked.

    Great Fit, Perfect for Climbing

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: Runs large

I gifted these to my cousin that is an avid climber and she has not stopped raving about them. She says they are super comfortable without being too big, and the elastic waistband is perfect. She's used them quite a few times in rock climbing gyms and outdoors and said they are her new go-to pants with only a few sessions under her belt. They are breathable, the length is just right and the waist and ankle cinches can be adjusted to what you're comfortable with.

She said they do run a hair big but if you're looking for a more roomy fit for climbing or hiking it could be just right for you. If you're looking for a closer fit she recommends sizing down. She can't wait to wear them as a base layer this winter.

    Love em, but too long

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: XS
    • Height: 5'4"
    • Weight: 105lbs

These are very nice looking pants, and the side zippers are a nice feature, but they run a little long for me. I typically wear a 31" inseam and these pants were 1"-2" too long. They can't be hemmed because of the leg zippers, so I had to send them back.

    Cool pants

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: XL
    • Height: 5'5"
    • Weight: 174lbs

I ordered the XL and they were a bit loose. I think I will need to try a Large. My measurements fall between the two on their size chart, so I'd say it's pretty accurate.

I am impressed with the light, comfortable, stretchy fabric, wide comfortable waist band, articulated knees, and the massive side zips.

The drawstring may take some getting used to, but that's a pretty minor thing. It's a low profile, stretchy cord that is all one piece, so you have to tie a slip knot vs tying two ends in a bow. This is a minor thing to adapt to though, and ultimately helps to reduce those annoying times when you lose one end of your drawstring into your pants.

    great layering pant, runs large!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: small

This is a great layer- over shorts or long underwear- for cardio workouts in cooler temps. I am usually a med bottom in Arcteryx, but the small fits me with room to spare in these.
