Skip work and go for a hike.

Just because you have to head into work for morning meetings doesn't mean the day's lost. Forget the tie and pocket square, wear the Arc'teryx Men's Skyline Short-Sleeve Shirt, and quietly slip out after lunch to go for a hike—you'll get more done thinking in peace than in an afternoon's worth of emails and phone calls anyway. The Skyline's lightweight polyester fabric is perfect for the trail, with UPF 50 protection and a little bit of mechanical stretch, and it packs down to virtually nothing, making it ideal for travel.

    Stealth shirt with not-secret snaps

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'10"
    • Weight: 155lbs

First off, let me say that this shirt is slick, like something you'd see a Tom Cruise-style adventurer in the near future wearing as he casually scopes out the foreign military installation from an abandoned airfield. Year 2030, we thank you for your technology. It is subtle while being eye-catching -- is that even possible?

That being said, I've found one tiny, annoying flaw: the button placard on this shirt covers up the metal snaps beneath, for the minimalist look. However, when in the very light "Delos Grey" color, the buttons protruding through the fabric are a magnet for grime. So even though the buttons are "hidden" they begin to show through as any tiny amount of dirt accumulates on them and suddenly your cover is blown.

not as good as it used to be

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 5'11"
    • Weight: 200lbs

Unfortunately, this shirt isn't what it used to be. I have an older version of this shirt, a couple years old I believe, and it's WAY better. I don't know if Arcteryx changed their source material or what, but the new one I just picked up in a different color fits slightly different, is slightly shorter, has less stretch, is thinner and wrinkles easy. Pretty disappointed especially given the price.

    Really nice shirt

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I was really excited about this shirt. I'm 5'11'' and 130 lbs. The shirt fit pretty good on the waist line, but the neck and sleeves were too wide. Even though I really liked this shirt - great feel and classy look - I returned it's just too expensive of a shirt to keep if it doesn't fit great on me.

    Unanswered Question

What does adrift look like in real life? Could you provide some pictures of a person wearing the shirt in the said color? Is it light blue or dark blue? I thought roman pine was green from the pics on the website but the shirt and pants were all brownish yellow, a far cry from what the pics on the site suggest.
