    My Favorite Shirt

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'10"
    • Weight: 167lbs

I bought both the blue and black shirts and wear them on my 13 mile bike commute as much as possible. They're very thin and ideal for summer use, but in the fall, I wear a thin base layer underneath.

Arc'teryx products fit me perfectly, and these shirts are no exception - all around a perfect shirt that I wear on my ride into the office and then keep it on all day.

    Husband's favorite shirt

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 5'10"
    • Weight: 200lbs

I bought this for my husband before he went to study abroad in the Middle East because he needed something with a collar and sun protection, but not something that would leave him in a big sweaty puddle. He (okay, I ) picked this one over other similar sun shirts because of the tapered mid section. The Arc'teryx Skyline Shirt doesn't make him look boxy, only athletic. They're his favorite to stay classy yet casual.

I can't offer that last start because of how much they've piled up in the few short months he's owned them (Black and Hectate Blue). It's not something that the pile shaver I got from Amazon can't fix, but still disappointing.

    Grey version is actually burgundy

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: True to size

I love my blue version of this shirt BUT the although the "Katalox" color looks grey in the product images it has a very red tint to it in real life. It makes the shirt look burgundy, or like a very faded black shirt. Unhappy having to pay for return shipping when the color really isn't apparent online. Sizing - arms are long but that's fine.

    Best Shirt Ever!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: L
    • Height: 6'2"
    • Weight: 165lbs

I have tried ExOfficio shirts but have hated the loose feeling and terrible feeling of the material. This shirt is just perfect.

    The most comfortable shirt ever?

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

Bought this for a friend, he says: Seriously, maybe the most comfortable shirt I own. Looks sharp, too - perfect business casual, but really it'll do anything. Travels really well, as others have mentioned - damn near wrinkle free. I'mma buy a few more of these.

    silky smooth but flimsy snaps

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 130lbs

I have 5 short sleeve and 2 long sleeve skyline shirts and I wear them practically every day. I just can't believe I am actually writing some negative comments on this shirt again. On the outside, it looks good and feels good. But, this is what drives me crazy: the snaps are incredibly flimsy. I decommissioned one short sleeve skyline because one snap came apart. I thought I was pulling the snaps too hard and had taken extra care with them when taking off my shirts from then on. Last night, however, one snap on this long sleeve skyline failed again, broke into several pieces to be exact. I am utterly disappointed at the durability of the skyline collection. Both shirts failed within one year of office use and since I live in China there is simply no way I can get them repaired. Put simply, the shirt is sleek but is not worth that much money because it is not built to last.

    Great for travel

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: True to size

My husband spends a lot of time on the road and loves this shirt because it looks great out of a suitcase and is easy to wash, especially because it dries so quickly.

    Incredibly Comfortable

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 6'2"
    • Weight: 195lbs

Very classy looking and super comfortable. Its a bit short compared to most dress shirts, seems like its meant to be worn untucked, which is great. I loved everything about this except for the price. I don't typically buy dress shirts which is probably why that seems like a lot for me.

    Silky soft

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 130lbs

This shirt is very chic and sleek-looking. It is my favorite shirt for work days. The downside is that the material pills easily and builds up electrostatic charge when I am wearing merino wool baselayers. Whenever I try to take off the shirt, I get a bit worried given the potential shocks.

    Great Fit & Receive Compliments

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Height: 5'10"
    • Weight: 195lbs

Shirt fits awesome & is true to size. Have worn it numerous times & received compliments every time. Easy to wash & minimal ironing. Scoop it up!

    Feel Classy and Look Classy

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small
    • Height: 5'11"
    • Weight: 150lbs

Got this shirt and was expecting something decent because it's arcteryx. Oh dang, this shirt is so soft and feels amazing. I fit perfectly into a small. If you're my size a medium could probably work but you'd have a bit of extra fabric for sure. You feel pretty classy in this shirt because the buttons don't show at all so it's all black.

Arc'teryx Skyline Shirt is super soft

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 6'2"
    • Weight: 200lbs

This is one of my favorite shirts! It fits great, is super soft, and holds up over time. Definitely worth the price

    So very cool!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 6'0"
    • Weight: 165lbs

Quite possibly one of the world's most perfect shirts! Looks great, feels great against my skin, and fits amazingly well on me (and I am exceedingly particular about fit, feel and looks). I'm 6'0, 165lbs soaking wet in work boots with a 40" chest and the medium fits like it was custom tailored for me. I bought the black and will likely add the Nighthawk color to my wardrobe as well in the future.

I wear a skyline literally everyday

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 6'1"
    • Weight: 200lbs

I have about 12 skyline shirts. I literally wear them everyday. I work in a professional office and they look great. More importantly they are exceptionally comfortable and very breathable. The stretch adds to the comfort. Some of them I have worn for 4 years and they look like new. No iron needed, they look great right out of the wash. Get yourself long and short sleeves for all seasons.

I’m just waiting for new season colors.

    Look classy and be comfortable

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'7"
    • Weight: 135lbs

I don't like dress shirts. But I LOVE this shirt. The material is silky soft, lightweight, and just perfect. I wore this shirt to my interview here at Backcountry. Paired with my amazing personality and impeccable credentials, this shirt got me hired! Sleek enough to wear at the office and during business ventures and comfortable enough to enjoy a beer at the brewery afterwards. Low maintenance, it sheds wrinkles and never needs to be ironed. In my opinion you can't buy a better shirt than this.

    Comfortable and Slick

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'11"
    • Weight: 160lbs

Bought the Skyline in black as a work shirt for fine dining serving. Very stylish and comfortable, definitely the envy of my co-workers. Has survived numerous shifts, coming out unscathed from the myriad workplace hazards ranging from rogue bursts of Buerre Blanc and poorly formed Panna Cotta meltdowns, to misadventures in Petite Syrah, and Proscecco bottle popping. Mediums usually fit a little smaller on me than this one, the arms seem to be pretty long, which is good as my slightly monkey-like build of longer than normal arms is accommodated. This is simply a fantastic option for when you want to wear a sweet Arcteryx shirt but have to conform to a slightly higher dress code than the majority of their products offer.

    Silky and Comfy for All

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: S
    • Height: 5'6"

    Business Casual

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size

This shirt is perfect for those days in the office when you want to look nice but don't want to compromise comfort. I love the slight stretch that this shirt has to it, it moves with you and keeps you cool. I'd definitely recommend this shirt to someone looking for a business casual shirt.

    Perfect Fancy Casual Shirt

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Purchased this shirt for my husband as a dress shirt. It’s very light weight and breathable! It does have snaps as opposed to buttons, which he doesn’t mind but wasn’t expecting. He wears it to work and casually. He varies from a size Small to Medium, and we went with a Medium on this and it fits perfectly. A small would have been a bit too tight across the chest.

What color is the “Pilot”? It looks gray but Arcteryx shirt colors can be deceiving. I was really looking for a lighter color like white or “putty gray” .
    Thanks

Tony! What's going on, I am one of our Arc'teryx ambassasdors! As for the color of the shirt, the pilot is gray. It isn't a lighter gray or close to white shade though, I would describe it as identical to a gray crayon, and more of a light charcoal color. if you have remaining questions regarding size, or other products please email me at cekblad@backcountry.com!
