not mosquito bite proof
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer

Love these pants with the exception that mosquitos can and did bite me through them.... A LOT!!! Not so good as a summer pant in Alaska for that reason. Otherwise, I love the fit, they're very comfortable, flattering and versatile. Love the zippered pockets too. As someone who is frequently too short for regular length pants and too tall for short sizes, the regular length fits me well. I probably could have gone down a size for a more fitted fit as the fabric is stretchy, but I prefer them a little loose.

Nice looking pants!
- Familiarity:

- Fit:
- Runs large

I read a lot of reviews about how hard it is to get the pants on because there is no zipper. I still went by the measurements on Arc'teryx size guide and ordered a size 10. I am 5'1" and 120 lbs. They were huge. Judging from other pants I had to reorder, I would need a size 6. I am not in the mood to re-order them just yet but may be when they are a little less expensive, I will. I think the wide waist band is very complimentary to someone with a small waist, the length is perfect and they look really well made. I wish they had fit better.

I returned these due to the tight waist ban. Probably should have bought the size 2, but decided to return because of there is no give in the waist.

Fabric is thin yet tough, stretchy yet holds shape and form, and dries fast. I highly recommend these pants and, I'd buy another pair.

Lightweight & durable. Baggy butt

I have two pairs of these in size 4 (I'm 5'4"/120). I love how light and comfortable they are, but I regret not getting size 2. The butt is baggy, and if you use the side pocket for a phone, it pulls the pants down a bit for an even less flattering look. That said, they are great for climbing and sleeping in when on the road and surprisingly durable for such thin material. I find the waist to be large as well, and the drawstring isn't great for tightening them.

As everyone is saying, they do run small. Order a size up and you will still get a slim fit. This is what I did and I did not struggle with the waist band and still have a slim fit. Effective stretch panels make them comfortable for hiking and climbing over things

Could be the best bouldering pant...
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
- Fit:
- True to size
- Size Bought
- 6 and 8
- Weight
- 130 lbs
Really love this pant. The fabric is quite abrasion resistant and lightweight- seems that it should be breathable. It has some give, though I would not call this a stretchy pant. It seems that it would be awesome and durable for bouldering and rock scrambles. Here's the rub, though; I found that my figure didn't lend itself to the pant. I'm a bit full in the hips/thighs and found that size 6 (my usual @ 130# and 5'4") was a bit tight through the thighs, while the size 8 was quite loose in the hips and waist. It makes for gaping in uncomfortable spots. It's too bad, because I often have problems with my muscular calves and these actually were comfortable- even in the smaller size. As others have said- you have to do some belly-dancing maneuvers to get it over the hips, but I'm not a stranger to that issue... I really love the fabric and the design- I'd say if you have less in the thigh/hips areas- give this pant a try!

I'll start this off by saying I'm a HUGE fan of Arc'teryx. Go glad I picked these up! I have a few pars of the Levita pants and I wanted a pant for climbing with a slightly slimmer leg. These are so stretchy and flattering! I normally wear a 2 in Arc'teryx, but I read a lot of reviews that advised to size up. Ended up getting these in a 4 and they fit fine. I'd like to compare to the 2, but I have a suspicion they would be very tight. All in all, I love the flat waistband, gusseted crotch, and stretchy material, because I can move without feeling restricted. Definitely getting these in black too!

Best lightweight hikers I’ve found, BUT

The waistband is crazy! These have a very fitted cut with a medium-high waist, and the waistband is almost completely without stretch. You can draw it tighter once on (I needed to), but it might be a challenge to pull it over your hips in the first place! Picture trying to pull on zipped and buttoned high-waisted jeans and you’ll have an idea. That aside, these are cute and extremely lightweight; I haven’t tested how quick-drying they are yet but so far I love how light and breathable they are. Despite the slim cut they move well and have plenty of stretch/articulation in the joints...I’m pretty petite and was used to being confined to youth sizes if I wanted anything that remotely fit, so it’s great to come across a true-to-size women’s pant that is flattering and functional. The high back waist is nice for full coverage, and the zipped thigh pocket is a good size - all in all I’m happier with these than any others I’ve found.

Not a fan of the waistband

These pants fit pretty small. I have a 29" waist and a 40'" hip. I initially tried a size 8, but they were way too snug, and fit pretty much like leggings. They had a cute look to them that tight, but not very functional for much movement. I got the size 10 and they fit great! My only complaint is that the waistband is tight and a fixed size, with no room for adjustability. I had a heck of a time getting them on over my butt. So if you have a booty, be warned. Once on though, the waist fits appropriately. Because I am so tall, the inseam on these fits like a crop length. They look a little funny as is for my height, but I roll up the hem and they look pretty cute. Really nice, light fabric also.

Great fitting pants that are true to size and flattering (and NOT leggings!). Stretchy and not too thin or thick. They are more of a "loud" pant than a typical hiking pant when the material rubs together, so more like a very lightweight soft shell material. I like the tapered leg vs most hiking pants which are wide legged. I did a waterfall hike with them; got them soaked and they just beaded up the water and dried super fast!

These are my very favorite pair of hiking pants that I have tried. As someone on the smaller & longer legged end I have tried, unsuccessfully, with lots & lots of different outdoor pants. The stretch of the fabric gives you lots of mobility despite the slim cut. The rise in the back keeps you covered & comfortable with a pack on your back. The thigh pocket is great for stashing & pleasantly fits a modern cell phone. I even wore them rolled up a bit for water crossings & they look cute & perform well like that as well. I typically buy the smallest size of pants that are carried in outdoor brands & was pleasantly surprised that these fit more true to size for my body type. The purple reign is a lovely color & not garish at all. Oh, & UPF 50 rated. As a very sun conscious consumer I loved this fact.

I love the idea of these pants, but I bought a size 10, which I have had in other products from them. I could not pull them over my thighs. I Bike and Ski but due to how trim fit they were I doubt a 12 would work.

I have running shorts from Arcteryx that I LOVE LOVE LOVE and these looked like the same basic idea- similar waistband and fabric so I ordered them despite the $119 price tag. Well, yes, the waistband and fabric are just like my beloved shorts. But, if you're like me and have muscles, the cut may not fit. These are amazing in the waist and hips, slim but not too tight, comfy. They are so tight in the thighs and calves that they would not be wearable for activity. A size larger will not fit in the waist and hips so I am not going to try the 8. I ordered a 6, I'm about 5'5" and 150 lbs, 28" waist, 38" hips, 21" thigh and 16" around the widest part of my calf.
