    Rush LT Pant

The Arc’teryx Men’s Rush LT Pants are like that friend that’s always there for you—the one that’s there to catch your first full send of the season on video, the one that calls you at 5 a.m. to get fresh tracks on a powder day that brought in a foot overnight, and the one that always keeps an extra protein bar in his pocket just for you.

The Rush LT utilizes Gore-Tex’s new cutting edge knit-backed membrane to help increase the waterproof shell’s breathability to maximize your comfort. An ergonomic design and gusseted crotch enhance your range of movement on aggressive descents, while the low-profile bib helps to prevent snow from finding its way down your pants. Plus, the reinforced insteps, adjustable touring cuffs, and two-way zippered side vents simply help to make your life easier.

    • Backcountry shell that puts comfort and convenience first
    • Gore-Tex shell delivers waterproof protection
    • Fully sealed seams enhance moisture blocking power
    • Articulated design increases room for mobility
    • Low-bib helps to prevent snow from finding a way in
    • Lower leg reinforcements add durability to high use areas
    • Touring cuffs make it easier to buckle without snow getting in
    • Side vents for quick access to body temperature regulation

    Birthday gift

I bought it in grey color for my husband's birthday. And honestly it's looks way much better in real than in the picture. He was so happy and excited to test it.

    Light and durable

These are fantastic. I bought them because the entire lower leg from the knee down is extra durable goretex—I think 100d. This combined with the cordura instep makes them incredibly durable. They are entirely windproof and were waterproof in heavy wet BC snow all last week. The upper bib is stretchy. The straps are comfortable. I never noticed them even while wearing a pack. The zippers are a little wussy. The right pocket doesn’t have one and it should. I always feel arcteryx could do better zippers and pockets..my only complaint is they don’t look like much. Especially in all black. The fit isn’t to cool and they are totally boring in terms of style. But that doesn’t really count. What counts is that I would trust them to keep me dry and windproof in the worst conditions.

These pants kick ass. I've used them touring, resort riding, and everything in between, and I love them! They're nice and lightweight, easy to move in, breath well, but are still 100% waterproof. So far they've held up against scratches and abrasion. I love that the top part of the bib is a stretchy non-gore material that helps them breath and move easily. Plus they have the snaps that correspond with most Arc'teryx jacket's powder skirts!

    A great value

Super light with good venting options - the single leg full zip cuts weight while retaining a modest function of the common alpine feature. As typical with Arc', the light weight doesn't appear to directly correlate to a more fragile product. Though the legs are shorter than a competitor like Patagonia, the articulation is top notch and the legs don't ride up at all with full motion or while kneeling. The medium is almost verging on too small for me, but they serve their purpose just fine without sacrificing comfort or usability. The leg openings are very wide to accommodate ski boots (obviously) and are also very stiff because of the bomber fabrics (wisely chosen of course), but this makes them a poor crossover option for other activities like mountaineering unless you dig the bell bottom look or are cool with putting gaiters on (they are of course sport specific, I just like the option). Overall a great choice and value buy Arc' standards.

Bomber Ski Bibs With Neat Features

I am 5'11" and 175lbs with a 32" inseam and waist typically. I purchased a large - I probably could have fit a medium just fine, but prefer a slightly baggier fit for ski pants. I am previously coming off the Arc'teryx Theta SV pants (in size large also) and these are the solution to many of the problems that I previously had with the Theta SV. I'll try to get a photo up for sizing when I can. Here's what I liked about the Rush LT pants: - Two decent sized pockets. One bib pocket that can more than easily fit a modern phone and snacks and a thigh pocket. For the record, the Theta SV bibs have two bib chest "pockets" that definitely leave a ton to be desired. - Goretex C-Knit makes for soft and still very waterproof & breathable. Can't ask for anything better on that! - The venting is on point. One vent on the left that starts low enough that you can pull it down with a jacket on and the right is a half zip starting from the top of the bib. Thought it was a bit odd right when I got them, after a few big days touring in the Grand Teton National Park, I am a big fan. - The Touring Cuff seems like a neat - seems that you can run the power strap through the gaiter so you can adjust the strap without having to take off the gaiter and get snow in your boot. Haven't really used it yet though. Will report back when I do actually use it. What I haven't liked about them: - The suspender straps do come up and cross pretty high on the back - practically right behind the neck. - Something to note is that the cut of the pants looks a touch bell bottom esque when putting them on without boots on. Make sure to try them on with your boots if you're not sure on it. Overall, if you're looking for a heavy duty ski bib that you can just as happily rip resort laps and spend all day touring in, look no further. I would highly recommend these - feel free to reach me at my direct line 801.204.4547 or my email cojohnson@backcountry.com if you have any other questions or would like help placing an order!

Can you tell me what the legs measures when flatten at the knee area? I have a pair of pants (size large) that measures about 10.5" but looking for something a little more trim.

    Stellar Ski pants

    Familiarity:
I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I bought these as a gift for my brother, who loves slaying powder just as much as he likes hardpack. The bib like construction makes deep snow no problem at all, and the long vents allow you to shed that extra heat on warm days. He really likes the regular fit, as it is nicely tailored around the legs.
