Rush Jacket

Built to handle life in big mountain ranges like the Colorado Rockies and interior British Columbia, the Arc'teryx Whiteline Men's Rush Jacket is a sweet little combo of utter toughness and luxurious comfort in a waterproof, breathable hardshell. Whether you're ripping pow in Canada or taking on steeps in Colorado, you'll be in no hurry to get inside when you have this storm-busting jacket. By using two different densities of Gore-Tex Pro fabric, the Rush jacket provides durable weather protection in a comfortable, flexible shell. In addition to being soft and quiet, Gore-Tex Pro is designed for bouts of intense activity with plenty of rest in between. When you're skinning up a steep section under heavy snow, the fabric breathes so you don't drown in a puddle of your own sweat. If you're stopping for lunch, photo ops, or a quick potty break, Gore-Tex Pro won't leave you a cold, shivering mess.

Arc'teryx - Men's Rush Jacket

Rugged GORE-TEX® Pro protection for freeride touring and demanding descents.

Hi, what’s the difference between the rush and the theta AR? I see the collar is a little different and it has a powder skirt. Looking for something for back country touring. It’s either these or a Patagonia pow slayer. Cheers

Hey Shannon, there's a few differences between the two. The Rush has a 80 denier (tougher fabric) and has a powder skirt, where the Theta has 40d for the body and some reinforced 80d areas and no powder skirt. Pockets are different also - they really do have somewhat of a different intended use. The Theta AR is more ice climbing and (ski) mountaineering oriented than the Rush. If you're planning on using it for backcountry touring, I'd personally recommend the Rush jacket! I personally have a Rush jacket myself and think its absolutely bomber - if you have any questions you can reach me at my direct line 801.204.4547 or email cojohnson@backcountry.com and I'd be happy to help!

Any idea how the regular fit compares to the old arcteryx sizing? Use to have a stingray that was labeled as athletic fit which I think was the regular fit st the time.
