Very tight stitching at the waist band
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
- Fit:
- Runs small
- Size Bought
- small

The pants are wonderful but I could not keep them. When I pulled them on the stitching at the waist was so tight I could barely get them over my hips and then they pinched at the waist. For reference, my measurements are 36-29-36.5. The M would be too large and especially baggy in the legs. The small fit perfectly everywhere accept at the top of the waist band. Very disappointed.

Love them, size down

Super comfortable, soft and warm. I could live in these pants. I recommend sizing down- I usually wear a size L (I am a curvy 10/12), I own these in M and L, I use the M for my only layer when skiing, it's a much more comfortable, snug fit for layering purposes. The L are a little loose for a legging, in my opinion. I am 5'4", and they are a bit too long, not a deal breaker for me though. Overall, I highly recommend

Seriously, if you can't do wool do these

I'm allergic to wool, but I live and work in extremely cold places. I shopped around and researched for a WHILE looking for something that would keep me warm in the mountains at night. These kept me toasty and cozy at 14,000+ feet for 19 days this summer. I wore them and the Arc'teryx top as my PJs and they did outstanding. They didn't smell, and they washed to a like-new quality. I have long legs and these covered my ankles – maybe size down if you're shorter.

So Comfortable.
I've been able to use my Arc'teryx Rho LT bottoms about 5 times now for downhill skiing, and I love them. (I also purchased the Arc'teryx Rho LT Zip Neck Top and it is fantastic as well.) They are light and comfortable, and I have yet to be cold in them. I wear the bottoms directly under my ski pants without any other layers and have never been so comfortable skiing. No bulk -- but warm. (I ski in UT and CO.) I have found that they are fitted as I would expect in long underwear, but true to size.

nice...tested it out skiing, warm and feel great.
These thermals made me nervous because they were supposed to come up quite high in the waist...not to mention they were tight. I am about 5' and 92 lbs., so I'm very petite. I bought the XS to see how it would work, since I'm an XS in all Arc'teryx gear. Upon receipt, I realized they were not tight at all, but quite loose-fitting all over (including waist, thighs, and calves). They did come high in the waist, but not bad. They were about 2" too long for my small frame, but not too bad. Also, to my surprise, they were slightly thicker than I first thought. They are quite thin, but they have a slight fuzzy layer on the inside, which makes it soft and a little thicker than I originally thought.

The BEST!
I have had a pair of these longs for four years and they are still my favorite pair. They don't ich, the don't rub in my ski boots, and they don't stink. They are awesome!

Great lightweight layer
I love emepoo's review :) I have the black ones and they are great! I'm always cold so I like lighter layer and these worked out so well that I ended up buying a second pair. They fit great, even under my jeans. However, they are higher waisted than the low rise jeans but I don't care because if I'm wearing these then I am cold so I'm tucking in a shirt!

cute, comfy, warm but not bulky
I am cold all the time so I wear these under my jeans when it gets cold. They work great for layering because they aren't bulky. They have a higher waist than the current low-cut jeans but my shirts cover them so I don't care and this way no cold air sneaks in. At 5'7 128 the mediums are what I wear. Not too tight; not too loose on me. No itch. I also like these for under my insulated coveralls. Pretty darn perfect!

great underlayer for skiing
it kept me warm on the slopes and didn't feel itchy or tight, didn't ride up. it's little bit tight on the waist, but that might be because I do have a bit of extra waist - I'm 5'6", 140 and got M

Comfy!
I really like these pants! I've worn them as a base layer from x-country skiing, under my jeans on super cold days, and as climbing pants. They've worked great for all the above. They are very comfortable and provide all the warmth of wool without the itch.

Form fit is great
I've been layering with these when I bike to class and work. They've done a good job keeping me warm in 10 degree weather, and the form fit--while a little itchy at the end of the day--is doesn't bulk up in spots under your pants. The waist band IS wide, but it hasn't bugged me.

who-hoo, lock up your son's!
Aside from being this year's lamest chick shade (i mean if your going for shades of pink and red, for practicality sake, at least make it dark red). These pants really do rock. I have a really hard time finding bottoms that fit my bottom, but I couldn't stop looking in the mirror at myself in these. o yeah, and they are super functional/durable/wear well under shell pants/and don't ride up too.

The best bottles
The small opening bottles are great when your hiking & you don't want you drink all over you.

Soft, Warm, Great
These are my favorite base layer pants. They are soft, stretchy, warm, and breathable. They don't bunch up anywhere like some other brands. They are loose enough so as not to hinder movement while remaining close to the skin. I've worn them dozens of times and they have not lost their shape or pilled.
