RHO AR Bottom
The Arc'teryx Women's Rho AR Bottom means you can row, row your boat through miserably chilly weather and stay warm. Made exclusively from Polartec Power Stretch fabric, these tights are thick enough to wear alone for a November run, or warm enough to layer under a waterproof shell when you're skiing or boarding. Flatlocked seams reduce the potential for chafing, while the next-to-skin fit means the fabric maintains constant contact with your skin. Not only is this a bit of plush self-indulgence, but it also means sweat won't accumulate on your skin, reducing the chances of you succumbing to teeth-chipping shivering.
The RHO AR bottom is the heaviest baselayer from Arc'teryx, so you stay warm while feeding your passion for rowing on the Charles or Chicago River, or boarding in a blizzard, or running Turkey Trots on Thanksgiving day, or snowshoeing through Wisconsin old growth in mid-January.

Warm & Functional
- I've put it through the wringer
- True to size
I bought these for winter adventures; they have kept my legs toasty warm while snowshoeing, skiing, and climbing. They fit pretty well, but bag out a bit around the knees after a couple wears. The loose knees goes away after washing though. Overall, Arc'teryx lives up to their normal standards. An awesome base layer for all adventures.

Arc'teryx Rho AR Bottom (Women's Med)
- I've used it several times
This warm, soft and comfortable long underwear has successfully acted as an insulating layer to keep my legs cozy underneath my shell in below zero weather! I skied Big Sky when they temporarily closed the lifts due to below zero which reached double digit values. Even in these conditions, my legs were more than content. I highly recommend the Rho AR Bottoms. I am 5'7"at 126 lbs and the mediums are a good fit for me.
