    Midweight baselayer for cool-weather adventures.

Don't be a casualty to the cold. Pull on the midweight Arc'teryx Women's Phase AR Bottom for extra warmth when cooler days arrive. Constructed using two different, technical fabrics (the Phasic AR and Phasic S), this bottom excels when used as a layer during aerobic activities. More specifically, the Phasic AR fabric retains heat, while the Phasic SL material provides an outlet for a surfeit of sweat.

Additionally, a combination of flatlock seams and gussets behind the knee and in the crotch allow you to move freely, without risk of chafing. The entire bottom contains anti-odor technology to reduce odor build-up. So, grab your ice-climbing pants, ski pants, windproof running pants, or jeans and get outside knowing you'll stay warm in the Phase AR Bottom

    • Midweight bottom appropriate for high-output activities
    • Form-fitting design with gusseted crotch offers a full range of motion
    • Technical fabric construction retains heat, yet wicks away sweat
    • Sun-protection rating of UPF 50 protects your skin

So Comfy And Yet Keeps You Warm!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: M

I love the fabric. It is soft and takes the shape of your legs while keeping you warm throughout the day. I find it more suitable as an inner wear during winter. I love it so much that I have been wearing it every single day as an inner layer during spring, autumn and winter. Its light weight and fit makes you look slimmer too. I simply love it and don't step out of the house without it. It protects your legs against the wind.

    Great base layer!!!

Nice base layer!! Keeps you warm all day long while out enjoying winter. Wicks away moisture and drys quickly. Can’t even tell your wearing a layer it’s so soft and nice against your skin. Feels like part of your own body.

    Lightweight and toasty

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I originally purchased these bottoms for skiing, but now use them year round for climbing trips, camping, and (of course) ski touring. They're surprisingly lightweight for how warm they are. I run cold so they're perfect for me, but don't let their lightweight design fool you! As mentioned in a previous review, they ended up being a bit longer than expected which was great as I have long legs and it was much appreciated. Would definitely recommend!

    Thin, Lightweight, and WARM!!!

These may be the best baselayer/legging I've worn before. I put them on and immediately could feel how warm they became. They are thick enough to wear as leggings, too. Soft & comfortable. I wore them mountain biking under some shorts in maybe 50 degrees and was burning up, they were actually too warm for that day! I was very surprised. I'm a size 4 in Prana, 5'5, 130, square-ish waist, smaller hips but bubble butt, small fit perfectly.

    Best base layer!

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: Runs large

Bought this for a friend who wore these in Japan back-country skiing. She wore the entire time on her trip in windy and snowy conditions and raved that they kept her warm. Highly recommended.

    Nice material - loses shape

I purchased these for an 18 day Aconcagua trip . The material is nice - dense and warm for the weight without being too heavy . The only problem I had - after a day the fabric was all stretched out particularly in the knees and ankles - and did not go back to its original form when I took them off . I suppose if you wear these for a day of skiing is ok but for multi day trips - not so good . The ankles were so big that I had issues getting them to not be all bunch and uncomfortable under my mountaineering boots . My burton mod weight and lightweight layers did not do this and were half the price ...

When I took these out of the box and felt how light they are, I didn't think they were going to be much of a base layer. I wore them hiking on I day I expected to be fairly cool. After hiking 10 mins, I was burning up! These keep you so warm and allow ventilation behind the knees. Love the overall fit! The inseam online says its 29", but these were a bit longer, which is much appreciated for my 6' tall frame

        perfect baselayer

I bought these as a baselayer for snowboarding and they are amazing. I'm 5'2.5 about 125 lbs and ordered a small, they fit great. They keep me warm and dry while boarding in cold conditions. I tend to get hot easily and don't like super thick/multiple layers underneath my pants but these are light, breathable, and overall very comfortable. Some baselayers can be itchy/uncomfortable in the seams/tight around the waist but I didn't find any of these issues with the AR bottom. I got the seaglass color and it is true to the image. Would totally buy multiple pairs of these.
