Pemberton Short

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit: True to size

Perfect summer short. They have a quasi-stretch waist band that fits comfortably like a Prana Mojo short, but it's hidden so you don't look like you're going to go play basketball.

Great multi-purpose shorts

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium
  • Height: 6'0"
  • Weight: 170lbs

These shorts are very comfortable, made from a fabric that has a cottony hand to it, but with a decent amount of stretch. They look cool and touchable, not techy/dorky. Construction quality is the usual Arc'teryx special. The built in belt is quite nice and has a little elastic give for comfort. They move well, climb well, and even look great for around town with a casual button down shirt. Time will tell on durability, but I didn't get them to bash at the crag full time. They did shrink a bit after the first wash even though I was careful with the wash and dry temperatures. My mediums still work for me and that's my usual size in everything, but if you're close already... watch out. I hope they don't shrink any more.
