Kyanite Fleece Jacket

The incredibly versatile Arc'teryx Men's Kyanite Fleece Jacket is an ideal option for everything from climbing big walls in the fall to scoring epic powder days in spring. This streamlined fleece offers lightweight warmth and total mobility, making it ideal for high-output activities, whether you layer it under a shell or wear it as a standalone piece.

Polartec Power Stretch Pro traps heat and stretches effortlessly to keep up with your movements when you're skiing, hiking, or climbing. It manages moisture to keep heat-robbing moisture from leaving you cold and clammy, and it also breathes exceptionally well to keep you from overheating during arduous ascents. And don't worry about the occasional brush with granite or bark—a nylon face adds abrasion-resistance for extra dependability. The hand pockets sit high on your torso so you can access them while wearing a backpack or harness.

  • Versatile fleece that works as midlayer or standalone jacket
  • Polartec Power Stretch Pro fabric for exceptional mobility
  • Nylon face fabric is durable and abrasion-resistant
  • No-slip zip opening stays put while moving
  • Mesh-lined pockets provide additional breathability
  • Trim fit layers easily under a shell

When I first picked this up out of the packaging, I was concerned it was just a light little jacket. I was pleasantly surprised, that after wearing it for a few minutes over a tshirt, I was cozy. I mainly purchased this for wearing with my WFH gear to add give some swag to video conferences. It will def get wear casually in and out of the house too. I will be cautious with it, as I saw some reviews with pilling issues. I like the smooth fabric inside the collar because my facial hair usually gets snagged or scrubs the inside of other jackets. Hopefully holds up, if so, I intend to grab another color.

This jacket is worth every penny. Would highly recommend the product itself but would opt to order from literally anywhere else due to the poor customer service. Ordered and my card was immediately charged never received the product after waiting almost 2 weeks and had to cancel the order all together and still waiting for the refund on my card. Talked to customer service 5 different times with no resolution. Save yourself the hassle and order directly from the arc teryx site.

This is primarily a layering piece. As such, it’s strong point is it’s versatility. Don’t look for it to do any one thing exceptionally well, rather all things very well. On the trail, around town even around the house, wear it over a base, under a shell, or both. Stretchy, comfy, durable. Love the pockets too. Cons? Could be lighter and doesn’t pack very small. Also I found the fit (medium) to be a little loose for the trim rating.

Got this to replace my old powerstretch fleece and it's fantastic. Warm and comfortable all day long.

Well I’m returning this purchase...

I thought I took advantage of the 30 off full prices item on Labor Day weekend.... I was wrong, I was charged full priced after looking at my Paypal account on a unrelated issue. Long story short, call you guys but I was in the wrong to assume that this is a small issue. The best you guys can do is give me “15 percent off”.... for god sake, Labor Day was 2 days ago and the offer was 2 days ago. After being with you guys for ..... idk, look me up in the customer history. I’m not buying another anything from here.

Do you think a Kyanite in Medium would layer over Smart wool 250 and under a Medium Atom LT for cold weather skiing? Shell layer is medium Sabre jacket. And how would you compare the Kyanite to the Delta LT and Delta AR in terms of warmth and ability to layer under Atom LT or Atom AR? Thank you!
