Koda Insulated Jacket
When ski mountaineers, alpinists, and climbers venture into the most demanding environments on earth, they rely on Arc'teryx outerwear to shield them from the elements. By employing the same performance fabrics and top-shelf design features of Arc'teryx's technical outerwear, the Men's Koda Insulated Jacket offers that same bombproof performance but in a street-smart package.
The outer shell is a windproof and water-resistant fabric, and the Coreloft synthetic insulation is an efficient and non-bulky fill that offers superior warmth in the coldest conditions. Slightly less insulation at the underarms and side panels ensure a comfortable fit and a trim profile. Clean in looks, the Koda maintains a steam-lined design with just two hand pockets and an additional internal secure-zip chest pocket for valuables.
- Casual insulator offers Arc'teryx performance in a street style
- Gore Thermium shell is windproof, water-resistant, and breathable
- Body-mapped Coreloft insulation places more warmth where needed
- Adjustments at cuffs and insulated hood secure the fit

Great Long Jacket
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: L
- Height: 5'11"
- Weight: 170lbs
This jacket has a great fit and clean look, and the synthetic insulation is great for non arctic winter conditions. The color looks great. I also really like this length, and the paneling and design of this coat makes it great for all situations from casual to professional. The only reason it's docked one star is that it's a little too noisey for me, the face fabric. But besides that this jacket is really amazing.
Great Everyday Winter Jacket
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
Typical top notch quality you'd expect from Arc'teryx but in a casual winter jacket. Easily fends off cold, rain, and snow but in a less technical package. The hand warmer pockets are amazingly soft that it feels like they lined them with the pelts of baby unicorns. The only thing that had me scratching my head was the hood...I thought the hood design would have gotten the trickle down effect from their technical jackets but it looks a bit awkward and bunches up on the sides.
I'm curious about how this compares to the Uber Flight City Parka for warmth and weight. Looking for something to wear over a shirt for my winter commute.
how does it compare to Khuno Parka? Same one?
looks to be this season's version of the Khuno. Same fill size and nearly the same overall weight and price.
I have both, Khuno is slightly bulkier with horizontal opening hand pockets. Koda feels lighter with same warmth.
