Why We Like The Incendo Vest
Keeping us warm to the core, the Arc'teryx Incendo Vest swats away the damp, windy hands of Mother Nature when it's particularly cold out. An ultralight nylon shell forms a barrier between us and any adventure-ruining gusts and drizzle, and at just over three ounces we barely notice we're wearing it. A mesh back panel keeps us vented and reflective details boost our visibility when we're out for an evening jog, while a zippered internal pocket keeps our tunes safe while we're getting after it.

Nice light run vest. Tight chest
- I returned this product before using it
- Runs small
- Size Bought
- 5` 8"
- 150 lbs
Despite my owning a number of other Arc'teryx tops in size Small, this vest has a smaller chest dimension than any of them and is uncomfortable across the chest and where it tugs under my arms. It fits great everywhere else and is quite long. I will return for a Medium size but am afraid that will be too long... Otherwise the vest seems to be just what I was looking for; soft, light and trim fitting to wear over a base layer during runs in cool and/or damp conditions. Note that my chest measures 38" which is at the top of the size Small range.

Does the job - but the price?
- I've put it through the wringer
- True to size
- Size Bought
- 6` 2"
- 170 lbs
I purchased this as a running vest to break the wind on blustery days. First, THE GOOD: It is very light (size L is 3.5 oz on my scale), the green color is great for visibility, the mesh back breathes very well, and the side pocket is great for stashing small items. Contrary to Backcountry's description, there is only one side (zip) pocket and no hand pockets (but it doesn't need any). Now, the ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT: The nylon fabric is very light but not as wind resistant as my previous running vests - a weight trade-off I assume (note I've never had it in the rain and cannot comment on water resistance). Arc'Teryx items usually have a very athletic fit, but this item is a bit baggy. And then there's the price ... All in all, I'd buy this again - on sale!
