A runner's best friend.

The super lightweight Arc'teryx Men's Incendo Long Short utilizes a longer cut for trail runners and long-distance hikers who want more coverage. The Incendo's breathable fabric eliminates perspiration as it accumulates by dispersing it through the weave, allowing it to evaporate more efficiently. This material also sports a DWR treatment to reduce soaking by rain or splash, keeping the shorts comfortable and light. The Incendo's longer cut really comes in handy when you consider the Invigor's 50+ UPF rating: that means happier skin for you even if you forgot to bathe in sunscreen pre-run. Drop a gel or your media player in the rear zip pocket and commence to put some serious mileage on your legs with these stretchy, ready-to-run shorts.

  • Lightweight and breathable
  • Quick drying

Soft

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Height: 5'11"
  • Weight: 196lbs

Super soft and comfy shorts for running, hiking or just lounging. Very breathable and the back pocket is sufficient to store cash/small items while you're out and about.

Super Comfy

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium
  • Height: 6'1"
  • Weight: 175lbs

Uber comfortable shorts for just about anything you need, be it running, lounging or other outdoor events. Super soft, really some of the best shorts I own. Normal 33” waist and a medium fits great. Really like the location of the single pocket in the back and the design of the draw string. They have held up well for a few months so far!

Great shorts

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: XL
  • Height: 5'10"
  • Weight: 215lbs

I'm 5'10 but need an XL. I was concerned after reading the other comments that the shorts would be too long. But it just touched the top of my knee cap - just perfect. I use it mainly for hiking. It is very light and comfortable. Will get another one.

Silky Smooth

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large
  • Height: 6'0"
  • Weight: 165lbs

My girlfriend bought these for me to mostly use for Yoga, but after using them, I wear them for everything. Around the house, yoga, climbing, running, everything. They are so soft and comfortable it's crazy! Only thing is a wish they had more then just the back zipper pocket but that is not what they are designed for so I can't complain too much. Highly recommended. I normally wear a 32" waist but I wanted them a little more relaxed fit so I went with a Large. They fit great.

Lightweight and comfortable

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I actually use these in the gym quite a bit in addition to trail runs. Great short - lightweight, comfortable, athletic fit, pockets.

Good not great for me

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

Im 6 feet tall. 175 lbs. tall and thin. medium fit perfect. 3 the description for three starts is "adequate for the job" and id agree with that. The material used is great, very light weight, quick drying and durable. if you are looking for a longer pair of shorts with no built in support then these are perfect. I own a lot of arcteryx products and love most of them, but for me theses just didn't cut it for two reason:

They were too long, touching somewhere in the middle of my knee.

and mostly the pocket is in a weird spot and doesn't fit my phone. i have an iphone 6 (not the plus).

Running shorts

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit: True to size

I bought these as a gift for my brother - the thing he most liked was the length of these shorts. He's pretty tall (6'4") and finds it tricky to get shorts in a decent length. These hit a few inches above the knee, which makes them perfect for running in.
They're lightweight and quick-drying. Useful pocket at the back for keys etc.

Super light, waist a bit tight

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Medium
  • Height: 5'8"
  • Weight: 155lbs

Ordered the medium and it fits snug on my waist, I'm a 34". Don't even need to use the drawstring while running. Also, I know they are called "Long" shorts, but I wish they were one inch shorter. Maybe I was just born an inch too short. Comes down to mid-knee; we'll see how warm they get during summer despite being very thin.

Overall they seem great though and the added pocket with internal "headphone" hole is a nice bonus. People who like to string their earbuds inside a shirt will rejoice. Worth the $60 bucks, get em on sale though!

Favorite running shorts

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium
  • Height: 5'10"
  • Weight: 190lbs

These are my favorite running shorts I've owned. They're comfy, light, and are great at wicking up sweat. I also like the back (and only) pocket, works great for holding a my iphone and a single key while on a run. My only gripe is that it has no side pockets, so I normally don't use them for anything other than running and biking. Overall, great running shorts.

Great hot weather shorts

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

These fit just right on me (5'10") and are very comfortable, yet durable fabric. They wick sweat like no one's business! I bought one and I'm about to grab another after writing this review.

all purpose shorts

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

typical high quality arcteryx gear. really like the fabric - thin and breathable, but not flimsly at all - seems relatively durable. equally suited for cardio workouts at the gym or long trail runs. fit is spot on. I am 5'8'' and they come down to mid-knee

Could anyone please tell me what is the...

Could anyone please tell me what is the inseam of these shorts? How long are they?

Hi Jonathan,

These shorts indeed list a 10 in inseam. However, I got mine today and compared them to my other long shorts, Salomon Float and Marmot Approach, both 12 in inseam. They seem longer than 10 in inseam shorts. They're the same length as the Salomon and slightly shorter than the Marmot. So my short answer is it's a long 10 inch inseam.

Cheers,

Jonathan
