More for walking
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Fit:
- True to size
- Size Bought
- 32 short
- Height
- 5` 7"
- Weight
- 180 lbs
Compared to the fit of something like Gamma AR pants, these are way too narrow at the hips and fit like jeans. I personally find them only good for walking. They do look good and seem to breathe reasonably well. The material.is very comfortable next to skin.

Far too small
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
- Fit:
- Runs small
- Size Bought
- 36
- Weight
- 230 lbs
Echoing comments below that the sizing is comically small -- i love the Gamma pants, the sizing of these pants was 1 or 2 sizes off.

Burly Town to Trail
- Size Bought
- 34/Tall
- Height
- 6` 2"

These pants rock! (pun intended) I use them primarily as a daily piece and for climbing outside. The fit and material look like they fit in at the bar without having an overly "outdoorsy" look but are still burly and lightly stretchy enough to climb with. The material is also relatively soft next to skin and they breathe pretty well too. The side stache pocket is also really nice for storing a phone or a snack while on the wall.I am a pretty slender build and don't have overly large quads or calves so the leg of the pants fit me really well. I'm also between a 32-34 in the waist and I wear the 34 in these and they fit like a dream. I constantly find myself digging these out of the laundry to wear again and again.

Great Pants But Very Small
- Familiarity:

Bought these pants for Summer hiking. They are light, have a nice comfortable feel and seem to breathe well. Only complaint is how absurdly small they are. Arc'Teryx stuff seems to run very small for pants, shorts, etc in my experience. I am a Size 34 for most pants so I went with a Size 36 with these and they are still extremely snug. I mean a 34 waist is a 34 waist isn't it? I've had similar problems with shorts and other pant models from Arc'Teryx. Great stuff but you have to take care on the sizing.

How Black is the Black? I have an old Arcteryx Rampart pants in Black which has the color depth of what I called "Formal Wear" Black comparable to suits; this unfortunately made it difficult for casual wear. Is the Creston Black the same or more dark grayish or metalicish (my preference)?

I wear a 36 inseam in most brands, sometimes a 38 depending on the brand. Any chance the 35 inch 'long' will fit? (And who makes a thirtyFIVE inch inseam? Seriously? Go to 36, Arc'Teryx.) Or is there enough at the hem to let out another inch?

Hey Thomas, Due to the fit and style that Arc'teryx makes there product in, the 35 best suits the performance and aesthetic of the pant. You are more than welcome to try it and if it doesn't meet your length expectations you can return it for free by reaching out to our customer inbound line. I wouldn't recommend letting out another inch at the hem, you are more than welcome to though, please don't hesitate if you have more questions. I am more than happy to assist!
