Gave as a gift and he likes it. Super light weight and fitted.

I don't normally write reviews, but the zipper on this vest is a disappointing miss. I also have the Atom LT Insulated Vest and the zipper on that vest is so much better. The zipper on this vest is unbelievably cheap and doesn't really match the quality that I expect from Arc'teryx gear. I got this late in the season so I've only worn it a couple of times. If there is a meaningful update or change I'll update the post when I'm able to wear it more.

Practically perfect in every way. My husband wears it as a layering piece in colder weather, or as outerwear in transitional weather. Fits perfectly!

I bought this for my brother for his birthday last May (10 months ago) and he actually wears it EVERY day! He says it is so lightweight and comfortable, he hardly notices he's wearing it. He is 5'7", 155 and wears a Medium, fits great and looks great! It has become his #1 choice and so far the quality is amazing, it still looks almost new. The slight sheen on the face fabric makes it look nicer than other brands.

I bought the vest about 2 years. I liked the way it fit, it was lightweight and warm. However, it has sprung a number of holes and leaks down. I bought tape to repair, the coat looks like a quilt. The zipper is not strong and finally broke. I've sent it back to Arc’teryx and I'll see if they repair it. Their return policy is rather difficult compared to Patagonia.

A little Tight

I got this in a medium which usually fits pretty well. I do have broad shoulders and it feels a little tight around the shoulder area. Its not a big inconvenience as I'm not doing a lot of physical activity in this vest. it is absolutely warm and looks great.

I'm 5'8" and about 170, athletic but not 25 year old thin athletic. I typically fall between a medium and a large (my issue is usually shoulders and arms, and I'm a 41 dress coat). I wanted a slimmer look with this vest, and because there are no shoulders or arms on a vest... I went with the medium. This thing will keep me off the pizza and beer for sure. So that's a win win. Very happy with purchase.

Bought this vest a little leas than a year ago. Loved it. Its lightweight, stylish, and pretty warm. Zippers are trash though. Then I noticed a tear along the seam on the back. Now I just wear it around town, nothing rugged...walking, standing, sitting. Contacted Arcteryx customer support. They told me that the split is wear and tear however if I sent it in they could repair it with...TAPE! For the money youre going to spend on this vest, get one thats higher quality. Extremely disappointed and basically wasted $250.

My only regret is "caribou" which might be better described at "shit brown". I have a black Cerium LT jacket that isgreat, thought I'd try a different color for an intermediate layer. But typical Arcteryx quality. I'm a 40-42 regular suit kind of guy, six feet tall. This fit and does the job perfectly, albeit brownly.

Great vest

Suitable for both office and outdoor; very versatile, it has become my favorite vest and I still like Atom I used to have from Arc’teryx. The size of normal and the quality is high.

AMAZING VEST

Men's small

I was on the fence about getting a vest for a couple of years, but decided to pull the trigger last week. AND WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG?!! This vest is amazingly light and warm. Yes, it is warm. Although some reviewers said it ran small, I'd say it is fitted in the hips/waist, but roomier in the chest, arms and shoulder (though not a relaxed fit - more athletic). I'm 5'5, 120lbs, 34D with broad shoulders and straight/slender figure from waist down (not hips/butt). I usually get a men's small in Arcteryx because of the shoulders and chest, and that's what I got in this vest. I will say the waist/hip area didn't have as much room as their other products, but it still had enough room for me. So, if you're a little larger in the midsection, you may want to size up. I've tried on the Patagonia (men's) vest and that one super snug in the waist/hips. Not this vest. I did experience some feathers escaping, though not a huge amount. I've noticed with any down item, when first bought/used, will have an occasional feather coming out, which is what I experienced here. If you're looking for a lightweight, but warm vest...this is it.

Throw this in your bag for that peak, or backpacking in chilly weather. You won't feel it and you'll be warm when you stop moving, enjoy the summit, or sit around the camp fire. I prefer to wear it underneath a shell for maximum warmth.

Great lightweight, packable vest! Exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it!

Great Midlayer

This is a great layer to wear under a shell on a colder day or on its own on a cool dry day. Plus the lightweight down fill fits close to you without a lot of bulk so you may be able to fit it under a slimmer jacket or something..

I like the athletic fit. Trim fit is awesome and does not have extra baggy space in belly and waist area that lets the cold air in like most other vests and jackets. It is surprisingly warm for how lite it is, because it is an extremely lite weight item.

This is an excellent vest, with just the right amount of fill and superb construction. If you aren't allergic to the incredibly high price, this is the vest for you. As for sizing, I am a pretty true medium, but the medium fit like a sausage casing. The large is just right.

I gave this vest as a gift to my dear dear friend, who sadly for all involved, lives quite far away in the scenic and polar climate of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The DWR coating has held up well so far, allowing snow, sleet, and the pesky-ever-present-'wintry mix' to bead right off the vest. He was looking for a lightweight, well-fitting, down vest to wear beneath his parka on walks and rides to and from work. He's rather trim, tall, and found Patagonia to fit too loosely in the waist for his liking. The Cerium LT Vest has suited him perfectly. The fit is true to size* (*to Arc'teryx sizing, which can be slimmer than TNF or Patagonia). He's been wearing this pretty much every day through the Polar Vortexes and mild (false alarm spring) days of Milwaukee's winter.

Quality of this vest is outstanding! I rarely need more than a sweater and this down vest to get me through chilly evenings. I tend to get stuffy in full down jackets, so I consider vests the "perfect jacket". I've tried several and this is my favorite. I like that fact that it stuffs into an internal sac (included) instead of a pocket as pocket stuffing can get a little unnecessarily tight. Get it, you won't be dissatisfied.

Needed a new vest so went with a Patagonia Down Sweater vest in Large, which ended up being too big, exchanged for a Medium, which was just too tight in the chest. I just happen to be right in between on Patagonia sizing on that vest. Ben @ BC was super patient with me on this crazy back and forth. I finally decided to go with the Cerium LT since I have a Gamma MX and Arcteryx tends to have a trimmer fit. The Large in the Cerium ended up being a perfect fit for me at 6'/180lbs/41" chest. Super warm and comfortable. Looking forward to putting it through the paces over the CO winter.
