Required wear for summits and belay ledges.

Funny how the temperature always seems to drop about ten degrees and the winds pick up by a few miles per hour as soon as you gain the summit. In moments like these, you'll be glad you packed your Arc'teryx Women's Cerium LT Hooded Down Jacket. Insulated with a combination of highly compressible and insulating 850-fill goose down through the body and water-resistant Coreloft synthetic fill in areas prone to moisture, the Cerium delivers reliable warmth at the most crucial moments of your adventures. When you are sitting on a cold and windy summit, the adjustable StormHood and cuffs help trap warm air next to your body while simultaneously keeping the elements out. And since this version of the Cerium sits at the lighter end of Arc'teryx's Cerium line, you don't have to worry about this jacket adding too much weight to your pack.

    Just the Best

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: True to size

A jacket like this can be a really good thing to have if you are looking for something that is extremely warm and comfortable, but also lightweight and packable. Arc'teryx happen to be pretty good at making outerwear, so I am not surprised that this jacket was so good.

    Great Simple Down Jacket

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

This jacket fits me perfect, considering I am so tall and it is hard to find jackets that fit my height and arm length. But it is great. I am in between a large and medium in jackets depending on the brand but I went with the medium and it is perfect, II like how it is fitted but not too tight. I thought it would be a litttttle warmer than it is... I have the cerium sl too and honestly there is not much difference except for the integrity of the fabric. This one is a little more durable though. I would definitely recommend this down jacket overall.

    Dirty and Leaky Feathers

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I ordered this jacket (lichen, M) for my girlfriend. I expected a new product, not one that already has a few dark stains and some leaky feathers.

I'm returning it immediately, so I have no comments on warmth, comfort, or even the very probable lack of durability. I heard great things about this jacket and its design in the men's version; it's a pity that what I received was so subpar.

    Dirty and Leaky Feathers

    Super disappointed

I just worse this for the first time and I was so disappointed!! The quality was awful. It was leaking feathers all over and the shell jacket I wore over it is not covered in sticky feathers I have to individually pick off. This was such an expensive purchase and to have this experience really disappointed me. I would not purchase this brand for a puff parka. I really wish I could have worn it sooner and exchanged for better quality.

      Love this thing

This is my daily go to mostly because it's a great mid layer. I like that with the high end down it compresses small so you can take it with you without the bulk. This is a LT version so if you're looking for a warmer stand alone jacket I would look at the thorium or the cerium SV model.

One of my Favorite.. Love Arc’Teryx

My wife and I have several Arc’Teryx jackets. The Cerium LT is my favorite for cool weather. Very lightweight and looks amazing on! We are both slim and athletic. The quality is inherent like all Arc’Teryx products. It has a sheen to it and looks very smart and professional on!

My wife has a small hooded version while I have the non hooded version. Amazed how warm and windproof it is for how light it is! With a shell subzero weather no problem.

Actually love the cold weather thanks to Arc’Teryx!!

      Love the fit!!

      Decent puffy

This is pretty warm and the color is fantastic. But it’s a bit short in the sleeves and torso for taller people. And the fabric is pretty flimsy so it’s not the most tear resistant jacket around so definitely be careful when wearing it. It will not take much of a beating. And Arc’teryx is pretty strict with their warranty so they won’t help you if you rip or tear the fabric. So just be careful with it.

        fantastic all around warm jacket

i bought this jacket to wear transitioning/lunching while backcountry skiing, but this jacket has quickly become part of my street wear wardrobe. it blocks the wind, which is great on mountains and in town. it's super light and packable into it's little stuff sack. i picked this jacket bc of the hood, which is awesome. fit true to size, so i sized up to wear it over other jackets/layers.

        New favorite coat

I gave this to my mom for her birthday and she wears it all the time. She loves the fit, the warmth/breath-ability , and the style. High quality and comfort.

Warm and cute however not very durable

Got this jacket as a gift in the Rhassoul color it is my favorite puffy and I wear it quite a bit. It is super warm and lightweight. I've only had it for a few weeks and it has started leaking a reasonable amount of down and has a small rip. The durability was a disappointment to me however it is still a great jacket.

        Warm & Flattering

Excellent puff jacket by Arc'Teryx - i got the Cerium LT to replace my old Patagonia Nano Puff and couldn't be happier. It has a more flattering and fitted cut to it, and is longer than other Arc'Teryx jackets in the torso so actually fits well and covers the length of your torso. It is super warm for how light it is, and could be easily layered under a ski shell.

I seriously can't stop raving about this jacket. From the moment I first put it on, I've been hooked and hardly ever leave the house without it. It's super lightweight, insanely packable, and feels fairly durable for a jacket of this size and weight. I love the fit, as well. I am normally a S and that's what I ordered in this; it's got room for me to comfortably wear a sweater underneath, but still looks great when I'm just wearing it over a T-shirt. Also, the Rhassoul color is BEAUTIFUL. 10/10 would recommend this jacket. I know it's quite the investment, but you definitely won't be disappointed.

        Warmth over Weight

This is a stellar down jacket, with some synthetic patches in the area's that you're most likely to get sweaty. It is super light and has a great fit, consistent with the Arc'teryx line. Initially designed for ice climbing this jacket is super weight conscious and packs down super small. It's perfect for ice climbing, ski touring, and even doubles as a stylish around the town peice. I'd definitley recommend this to any woman looking for a high performance light weight but super warm down jacket with a fantastic fit!

        Happy camper

I love this jacket!!! After reading multiple reviews and blogs, and watching YouTube reviews I settled on a Ghost Whisperer. The fit was way too tight so I exchanged it for a larger size. Unfortunately it was still a and fit. I returned that, and got the Cerium. It feels much more durable even though it’s only very slightly more weight. It packs down small into its own stuff sack. It fits well with plenty of room to stretch my arms, and covers my waist. The hood and waist are adjustable making the fit more customizable. I’ve worn this on cold Sierra nights, and stayed toasty warm. Definitely worth he investment.

I bought mine in 2015. Love this jacket! I wear it pretty much daily in the spring and fall, and as insulation in the winter. It's not warm enough on it's own below 20deg F, IMO, if you're doing any standing around. Hood always stays up. I've worn this bc skiing and it has snagged on trees without ripping. My dog jumps up on me and her nails haven't torn it - not the case for other down jackets. Great backpacking as it's so lightweight. Put this in my purse during conferences and in my bag on the plane too because it's so packable. Literally the best jacket.

        Warm!

I have the male version and love it! I finally got one for my wife this winter and it's amazing as well. Beats out all the Costco puffy's she's been getting for years. She's pregnant so she didn't to use it too much this season. So keep in mind it's form fitted but overall true to size. She's a small and a small was perfect on her. No issues like down coming out or anything that I could tell. Will report back after next year and more use.

Specific Design and Cut - Excellent!

I own both this Cerium as well as the Thorium and use them for different purposes. This Cerium is lighter than the Thorium, and made with a high down loft rating to give a high warmth to weight ratio. The outer fabric is, by design, is a little lighter weight than the Thorium outer fabric (still relatively lightweight) to be a fast and light, packable insulator when combined with a high-quality shell. While the Thorium is slightly more versatile (can be worn as an insulator or for casual use--up to a point) where the Cerium lends itself more toward being a fantastic insulator jacket (that some still wear as a casual go-to by itself only if exposure time is brief). This Cerium is slightly trimmer fitting than the Thorium (which still has a nice athletic fit) which makes sense since it's main purpose is as an insulator under that favorite outer shell. The colors are awesome.
