    Cerium LT Hooded Down Jacket

Layer the Arc'teryx Mens' Cerium LT Hooded Down Jacket under your shell when you head out for a backcountry tour on a crisp, cold morning, or use it as an outer layer for chilly fall hikes. The combination of 850-fill goose down and strategically placed Coreloft insulation keeps you warm during bone-chilling days in the backcountry. While Coreloft insulation does resist moisture better than down, and an ominous drizzle won't leave you a cold, soaking mess, it's best to pair this with a waterproof shell if you know wet weather is coming. This superlight hooded jacket comes with its own stuff sack so you can easily bring it along on your next ski tour.

    • Light, durable midlayer for cool, dry backcountry conditions
    • 850-fill goose down is light and compressible
    • Coreloft insulation for areas prone to overheating
    • Lightweight Arato shell with DWR treatment repels moisture
    • Adjustable, insulated StormHood protects head from wind and cold
    • Jacket stuffs into pocket for easy packing
    • Slim fit makes it easy to throw on under a shell
    • Item #ARC00P6

    Poundless per poundless warmest jacket

    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 155lbs

I was not sure if this very light jacket will keep me warm in 20-15 degrees temperatures but it did. My family members had Canadian Goose but they were a little bulky and they swears that it was very warm. I didn’t wanted the bulkiness just an active fit. This jacket is super lightweight and the amazing technology kept me warm outdoor all day. I did have a lightweight fleece on underneath the jacket. This jacket is probably the lightest jacket I own other than my running windbreaker. Per weight and warmness nothing is better.

    Amazing jacket Incredible technology

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs small

    • Weight: 173lbs

I have this jacket for 3 months now and I’m extremely satisfied with the quality and the technology.
I have used as a stand alone jacket and a mid layer for sky. It packs to a small size for travel.
This is my first arcterix jacket and I’m already looking to buy more . At first I was skeptical about paying extra money since I have similar Patagonia and north face jackets. But this ones beats them by far. The moisture mapping technology is amazing. All jackets should use that. I saw an earlier review about fragility of the jacket but I have not experienced any of that to the contrary I am please with the contruction of the jacket.

    LT is accurate

This is a great layering jacket unless you're really active and at that point you might not want this type of jacket. Breathes well. Fits great! Very compressible and great to throw in the pack just in case you get a little cold.

    Super Light & Super Warm

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is one amazing jacket. I needed a very warm jacket to replace my huge, bulky, old school down jacket, but when this one arrived, I thought I'd made a big mistake. It was as light as a late spring jacket and very thin. How could it possibly keep me warm in very cold temps? On top of that, I'd bought it post-season, so I would have to wait 6-8 months to even test it out.
So it was with excitement and apprehension that I took it out on the first somewhat cold day in D.C. Of course, DC isn't all that cold in December, but since I didn't have a whole lot of confidence in it, I considered it an acceptable starter test. It went fine, so I looked forward to the *real* test: Christmas in MN. And this jacket killed it!
I'm 5'9" and just 132 lbs with 3-4% body fat, and I was wearing only a long-sleeved T shirt and light sweatshirt as a midlayer, and I was quite comfortable on a 10-15 min neighborhood walk in 20 degrees. I felt a little cool when the wind blew, but not uncomfortable, and with a light fleece as a midlayer instead, I bet it would've been fine.
On my last morning, it was only 12 degrees, and I was fine dressed as above. Granted, I was only outside getting in/out of the car and filling the tank of the rental car, but I was surprised not to feel cold.
The fit is a little snug even for me, so I'm not sure a heavy sweater would work well, but you wouldn't be wearing one, anyway, if you're being active.
I haven't had reason to test the hood yet. It isn't adjustable, but it covers everything except your face. The waist is adjustable. There's only one thin inside pocket.
I'm amazed and pleased with this jacket. It may not be windproof for skiing, but otherwise, it will certainly be warm enough down to the teens. Oh, and I love the color I chose (Rigel), which is almost a jewel tone blue, bright without being too young (I'm getting close to retirement). I've gotten compliments on it, in fact. So glad I got it!

    Great jacket and awesome colors

This is a staple for any guy. I got it for my boyfriend and it's quickly become his favorite everyday coat. It's warm, yet lightweight so is a great packable jacket option. I got him the nocturne color and it's a really nice blue with a bit of sheen that makes it look even higher quality.

    Everyone needs a one!

I think that everyone should own one of these. Down jackets like this are so versatile and work so well! I have loved this Cerium, and it has certainly become a staple in my winter wardrobe.

    • Size Bought: XXL

Warm, super light weight. The hood is a massive plus in wind or coming out of the gym in winter months. It's a go anywhere jacket that is easy to move in. The shell is somewhat water resistant also. The only down side is the exterior material is somewhat delicate making it an expensive choice to use for chores like wood cutting or other burly tasks, it will rip easily but that's what they make gorilla glue tape for I suppose! If your looking for warm and compatable making it easy to travel with or use as a bac country layer or stand alone it's a good choice.

    Great Product

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size

Super warm for the weight. Also, its very well built as the usual with Arc'teryx. Will absolutely be taking this on all my cold weather adventures.

    Love this jacket

I got this as a gift for my brother. I had been hearing everyone rave about it so I figured it was worth a shot. It is so warm for how light weight it is. I was so impressed with the quality of this jacket I got one for myself in the women's version!

This is a high quality insulated jacket. I bought it for my husband and it fit great. We ended up returning it b/c he was looking for something more heavy weight.

    Jacket performs as advertised!

The jacket is lightweight and as comments have indicated previously an excellent warmth to weight ratio. From a sizing perspective I said “true to size” but let me qualify that comment. I wear a 40” suit coat with a 30” waist. The jacket - with a light sweatshirt is snug in the armpit and chest area. Large would be too big. I am not real muscular but if you are or have wide shoulders, note that the jacket might be a bit snug. The jacket looks nice and makes you forget you have it on its so light.

    My Favourite Jacket

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: XL
    • Height: 6'00"
    • Weight: 195lbs

Extremely light and crazy warm. I stayed out in mid 20ies with only shirt underneath, kept me warm enough. Beautiful design, and stands out in the crowd, people complimented me on the color, got the dark blue.
I am 6 feet and 195 - XL is a bit roomy, so you have to check it out. I was comfortable in L but hard to layer.

One thing you must be aware, this is not a performance piece. I came soaking wet from an hour trail walk. So for the high intensitivity activities it's a no, walking around ok.

    Versatile Down Jacket

This is a great mid to lightweight down jacket with a ton of versatility. It combines a fair amount of insulation with a very light weight, and decent durability compared to many of the ultralight down jackets out there. The fabric is not robust, but feels sturdier than I expected for how light the jacket is. I am typically between a small and a medium depending on the brand and cut. I prefer to wear a small for the sleeve and hem length, but the limiting factor is tightness across the chest. Surprisingly, this Arcteryx trim fit works for me in small. It feels best with just a base layer on underneath, and I can just fit a baselayer + trim midlayer. That is what I would expect as this is not a heavy jacket meant to be thrown over many layers. I am also really happy with the fit through the shoulders and sleeves. Some down jackets get tight through the sleeves and/or compress the down with layers on underneath because the fabric does not stretch. The Cerium has just the right amount of room to accommodate layers without the sleeves and shoulders feeling overly loose.

    Absolutely Amazing

My favorite jacket right now. Crazy warm. Really dig the fit and design of this thing. Super comfortable. Love Arcteryx down and the design and pockets on this thing are great. Well though out and smartly designed. Can't get better than this thing if its what you're looking for.

    Good quality.

The first time I bought a down jacket on this shopping website, the customer service attitude is very good, the quality of clothes is very good, the logistics is fast, more satisfied!

      Great layer

This jacket is a great layer. It is extremely warm but very thin. It surprises me how Arcteryx is able to make their jackets so thin yet be so warm. I would recommend this jacket highly for a layer of ski touring or just casual use.

      Unanswered Question

Arcteryx Cerium LT hoody has an old version and a revised version which fixes issue(s) on the old version.
Is this item (ARC00P6) the revised version?
I am planning to buy a M size black or Pompeii/Matador.
