Beta LT Hybrid Jacket

Whether you're rappelling into a sketchy couloir, skinning up a mountain, or hiking a classic through-hike, the Arc'teryx Women's Beta LT Hybrid Jacket provides the protection, ease of movement, and comfort you require to live your active outdoor lifestyle. The most packable and supple jacket in the Arc'teryx Essentials collection, the Beta LT features strong, durable N40r nylon ripstop fabric with Gore-Tex Paclite tecnology, as well as three-layer Gore-Tex in the high-wear areas for abrasion resistance and longevity. Waterproof and breathable, the Beta LT handles the ever-changing weather with ease.

Its trim shape with ergonomic 3-dimensional patterning (e3D) utilizes anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion and eliminate excess bulk. The helmet-compatible DropHood works with your climbing or ski helmet while WaterTight underarm vents offer ventilation during intense aerobic activities. Two high zippered hand pockets accommodate a climbing harness and offer your hands protection against the wind or cold, and a WaterTight Vislon center-front zipper and fully taped seams seal block out the cold and wet.

The jacket is so beautiful!

I have bought for my wife. She likes it. The jacket is able to resist the rainy weather of Portland in Winter and Spring. She wears it all day.

It is super light weight and not warm BUT a perfect rain/outer coat. I have been wearing my down vest under it when it is moist and windy outside. This is my 3rd jacket by the same brand and have never been disappointed

Love the bright color & cut of this jacket. Very thin but perfect as a wind break or rain jacket.

Is small a good size for this jacket? Height is about 5'4". Thank you

She loves it

Fit:
True to size

I got this as a gift for my good friend and she loves it. We went to Moab for a weekend right after she got this and it was pouring rain for two days straight. This is the only jacket she wore and she stayed dry the whole time. She has worn it multiple times since then but this was the first big test and she was very impressed with this jackets performance. She would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking about purchasing.

Great value

I bought this shell for my wife. I have an alpha FL and Beta LT, both with proshell. Her Beta LT in some ways seems more durable. Great fit and solid feel. Pit zips are a plus, as is the Beta AR type drop hood. All in all a great piece, especially for the money.

Would this be a good top layer ski jacket.

Hi Hannah, Although not a ski specific jacket, this would make a good outer layer for skiing. It is GoreTex so it will be highly waterproof and breathable. It is also hood compatible. Arc'teryx does have a ski specific line if you'd like to check those out you can do so here - http://www.backcountry.com/womens-ski-snowboard-jackets?p=brand%3AArc%27teryx&nf=1. Do I need to size up to fit a puffy underneath? I would wear either a patagonia nano air or a patagonia ultralight down as a midlayer for high alpine snow travel.

Hey Kate, These are cut with layering in mind so I wouldn't size up unless you are in between sizes. Any of the layers that you mentioned would work well with this jacket. Get a hold of me directly if you have any other questions.
