    This item makes a great base layer, but also looks good as a casual shirt. The material breathes well and does not get stinky, unlike synthetic material. The size is a perfect fit for me, but I wonder if the large might provide a tad more waste length and shoulder width. Anyway, I’m pleased with the shirt and fit. I’ve thrown it in with my cold, hang-dry, bike-kit washes a few times now and have seen no shrinking.

    what's the ratio of merino to cotton please? Arc's website doesn't state this important detail either...
