    Two's better than one.

We wondered what's better than one cottony, cozy fleece, and Arborwear answered with the Men's Double Thick Crew Sweatshirt. Its double-layer cotton fleece feels best when you have to get out of your sleeping bag and greet the cold campsite. Gusseted arms give a better range of motion.

Like the other reviewer said - it’s WIDE

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: Small

Very comfortable sweatshirt. Feels solid, yet manages to feel soft and it is heavier than you expect. Length on the body and sleeves is good too.

However, it feels like I am swimming in it. I’m not built like a twig, though I’m not huge like a body builder either. I figure I could pack on another 30 lbs and still feel comfortable in this size.

My suspicion is the gussets makes it bunch up too much, plus the torso is boxy enough as is. Great for outdoors work, but not the most flattering cut for casual wear.

    Wide.

This is the widest garment I've ever tried on. Looks very warm and comfortable, but heads up it's super wide.

    Thick.

Out of the box, I could already tell, this pull over is thick. I've only tried it on but I can tell this will be a go-to comfy sweater for the winter ahead. Side pockets don't connect into a full kangaroo but they are really quite deep. Runs just a little bit on the large side, but I wouldn't consider it a full on large sized sweater. As far a quality, I'd say the fabric seems tough, being marketed toward arborist, I'd imagine it stands up well to being rubbed against bark. Hopefully that translates out to a long lasting sweater. Anyway buy it. That's my two cents.

    Unanswered Question

I just received my new sweatshirt and tried it on. Very happy with the feel, but it seems a bit stretched out at the waist. I thought it would be "snug" as displayed in the photo.
