For when you're in yours.

The Arbor Element Snowboard tends to react violently when mixed with fresh pow and freeride terrain, but in the best way possible. It destroys snow on contact by throwing overhead slashes, ripping chutes, and stomping cliffs due to its System Rocker profile, which gives it the right blend of float in pow and precision on steeps. However, it's constructed with sustainably-harvested wood to reduce its impact on the environment, so the mountains aren't permanently harmed from the thrashing you just gave them. And if you decide to conduct some experiments in the park with it, too, be prepared for some exciting results.

System rocker uses several different design elements to provide true rocker performance while maintaining an incredible amount of edge hold and pop. It features a parabolic arc that is more rockered between the bindings and less rockered at the tip and tail to give it float in powder and a catch-free feeling on hardpack while making turn initiation fluid and easy. The Grip Tech sidecut uses two additional contact points along each edge to allow for reliable edge hold on a rocker profile. A Power Ply sustainably-sourced wood topsheet replaces plastic to not only make it poppier, but more environmentally-friendly as well.

Love this board!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've just come back from at week in Tignes in the French Alps and I can confirm this board is AMAZING! It coped excellently with all types of run where the snow changed from hard packed and icey to 2ft deep powder! This board handled it all great! Easy to control and fast! It's also pretty hard wearing against those pesky skiers! Though it did get slightly damaged thanks to some kind soul with a ski pole!

Another important FACT... No one else on the mountain had my board! a KEY POINT where style can ofter outweigh skill - For me anyway! lol

Love this board!

All Mountain Slayer!!

Bought this board for my fiancé and he has some initial reactions. " So far this board has been everything I was hoping for. It charges hard on the groomers, fast and responsive. But yet can hold its own on the deep Pow days. The twin shape was really important for me so I can ride switch on those long traverses to conserve energy. The rocker profile is amazing for the deep pow days, yet dons feel all weird and loose on the groomers. The 360 degree edge also was a big plus to help protect the board when out exploring new zones. I would highly recommend this board to any intermediate/ advanced rider looking for an all mountain board that can do it all!!!"

    All Mountain Blast

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

If you prefer to have fun when snowboarding the Arbor Element should be on your feet. For a sub $400 board this thing rules. From deep pow, to dabbling in the park the element can do it all. It is most at home slashing pow and railing corduroy, but makes quick work of hardpack days and spring shredding.

If you have questions on this board, or boots and bindings that pair well. Feel free to reach out to me directly. dgates@backcountry.com

    Hey Dan,

I'm an intermediate rider from the midwest, so mostly groomed slopes but I do live in an area that gets quite a bit of snow so we do have our good pow days. I'm interested in getting a rocker and I really like what I'm seeing in the Element. I'm about 5'10", 200 and some change lbs.

Would you recommend this board for the terrain around me, or would a camber board be better? Also would I be best with a 158cm wide, 159cm, or 161cm?
