By definition, kids are wild-things who have a strong appreciation for adventure, make more messes than imaginable, and, of course, fall down quite a bit. In the Anon Define Helmet for Kids, your little rabble-rouser bounces back quicker than a helical spring cascades down a set of stairs. Built to be kid-proof, the Define is fully fashioned with mini-thrasher friendly features—including glasses compatible goggles—that would make most adults jealous.

Equipped with the two-piece Endura-Shell construction, the exterior provides ample protection while the magnetic Fidlock and Boa Simple Fit system ensures a fine-tuned, secure fit so your grom's grey matter remains unscathed when a spilled French-fry suddenly becomes more like an amplified tumble roll. The Strapper Keeper is unique to the Define helmet and simplifies the kit with its all-in-one helmet and goggle. Conveniently enough, it retains the goggle strap in a streamlined alignment so you don't have to worry about missing goggles post that interpretive-dance-cartwheel in shred class. The included goggles come complete with dual layer face foam, channel venting, cylindrical lense, and a lightweight TPU frame.

arrived damaged and clearly used

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

The helmet itself is cute and just right for a little kid. It's the Anon Define S/M with attached goggles. The style and quality are very nice. The problem is it arrived in the mail with the following problems: the helmet bag wasn't in any plastic packaging, just thrown in the box; the tags were not attached to the helmet, just lying in the bottom of the box; the goggles had fingerprints all over them and the helmet surface had two very noticeable scratches. It is clearly a used helmet. The packaging and brown shipping box were in perfect condition so this did not happen during shipping. I'm very surprised and disappointed that Backcountry would resell any product with clear damage that wasn't in new condition. But reselling a damaged *kids helmet* seems really careless and potentially dangerous. It might be just a surface scratch, but it might have actually sustained a hard impact from use (rendering it unsafe for continued use)... who really knows? I can attest to what the packaging was supposed to look like because I bought the same helmet in the next size up as well and it is packaged correctly and truly brand new and undamaged. Now I'm stuck with the work of making the return, buying another helmet (I can only hope this one is new and unused) and hoping it arrives before we leave on our trip. Pretty lame shopping experience all because either someone didn't inspect a returned item or Backcountry has a seriously questionable resale policy... not sure which is to blame.

Sweet!

Familiarity:
I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I picked this up as a gift for my 4 year old niece who will be learning to snowboard this winter. It matches her burton setup so she is really excited! The helmet/goggle interface is really cool.

Sweet, wait broken after 3 days

Cool kids helmet when it showed up, but after 4-5 half days at our local ski mountain the boa system broke loose from inside the helmet. It won't snap back in. Broken after 3 weekends. Bummer. Hope customer service contacts me.
