The 5mm Contour footbed is sculpted for your female foot and comes out in case you prefer a custom-molded insole. Altra's Natural Ride System gives the shoe an anatomical influence to assist foot mechanics and encourage more natural movement. Despite a 27mm stack height, the Torin 1.5 keeps your toes and heel on the same plane with a 0mm offset. In large part, the height comes from the step-softening EVA and A-Bound midsole. The bottom follows the lines of your foot for a smooth and stable ride on fairly firm terrain.
