Perfection
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- 9.5
I love Altras. The timps are comfy, grippy, and lightweight all at the same time. The trails I often find myself on are pretty rocky, and bit wet, and pretty technical. For these purposes, I have found the timps to be great. Obviously, the toe box is another huge perk of this brand, my feet have some room to breathe. Would recommend trying out several different brands for your first trail shoes, as the zero drop isn't for everyone, but this is a great place to buy your Altras once you decide to join the cult.

Best Trail Shoes!

I'm a huge fan of Altras, and the Timps are no different! I have weird shaped feet that sometimes fall asleep when I'm running (very uncomfortable, do not recommend), and Altras are the only kind of shoe that I've found to be comfortable enough in the toe box and prevent the falling asleep issue. I've worn these on long hikes and trail runs, and they have just enough cushion to prevent my knees from hurting, and stay comfortable the entire time. I usually wear a 7.5 in running shoes, and the 7.5 in these fit perfectly. The zero drop isn't for everyone, but if you're looking for a great zero drop trail shoe with moderate cushion, look no further!

Awesome trail shoes
- Familiarity:

- 9

I usually wear an 8 1/2 wide in other shoes. I saw on a review that they run small so I went ahead and ordered a 9. They fit perfect. Are super comfy and very grippy on the trail. We live where the trails are pretty rocky and can be slick. But these shoes have been awesome! They have the perfect amount of cushion, but not so much that they don?t support. I would totally order these again!
