Cramped toebed
I recommend the Superior 5 over these, but those are also quite cramped compared to a shoe like Escalante which I more regularly train in. After bruised, blistered, bleeding toes, I finally retired these after just 100+ miles when I noticed my actual gait and knee rotation adjusting just to keep running in these things. Still on the hunt for a wide toe bed running shoe for the trails!

Love the products, don't love the barge glue issue
Ordered on 4/27, was able to hit the trails in May. I love the fit, and moderate ankle support. Unfortunately, massive separation occurred in the sole on front after less than a month ~60 miles.

Love these shoes. Super color!
I walk all the time. Need new shoes every 4 months. The Superior is my 'go-to' shoe. I love the color on this particular pair- Aqua. So many compliments.

Best hiking shoe I've owned!
This shoe is great! It provides cushion and traction and yet is very light. I got tired of the really stiff heavy hiking boots and decided to look at a shoe. This one fits the bill! Holds my mid foot but lots of room for my toes. My husband has wide feet and he loves his new Lone Peaks. My foot is a bit more narrow and this one is perfect. We are both very happy and have been out enjoying the mountains the last two weeks!

Great shoes! Fixed my daughters leg problem!
My daughter has wide feet like me. I bought her these shoes to run in. She said she didn't know shoes could feel that good. No more shin splints! SHE LOVES THEM!

I recently got these shoes in Moab, Utah, when I realized the shoes I brought with me did not have enough traction for hiking on slick rock. I am a big fan of Altra 0 drop, so I was relieved that I found them the first place I looked. They are wonderful. I have narrow feet, and these fit really well. They are a little narrower in the heel than other Altra shoes, but that works well for me. The traction was good on rock and I could feel the ground enough to grip. I could also rinse the dust off at the end of the day and they were dry in the morning. They will be a staple for me from now on.

AWESOME SHOES!
Awesome Shoes! Just size up one size! Very comfortable for your feet. This is my second pair. I usually wear an 8M... I ordered a 9. Fits Great!!!

Superior 4.5
I love the Superior for shorter trail days and 50k races. The shoe feels great on. I have a narrow foot so this feels a lot like the Timp but without as much cushion and great tread. If the lone Peak feels to wide this is the shoe for you.

In love with these shoes
These are the perfect trail shoe. I love the fit, my feet were swimming inn the Lone Peaks. These are more narrow, which I need. The amount of feedback that you get from the ground is just enough, I don't think I'll be putting the rock plate in. Last night I ran up and over a mountain, and the grip with these are amazing. There was no sliding. So glad I finally bought these!

Love this shoe!
Regular Altras are too wide for my feet, but these fit them perfectly! The toe boxes are just right. The tongue does rub the tops of my ankles a bit, but that's my only complaint so far.
