I’m a 58 year old with a duck waddle gait. Low 20s miles a week, and I got fed up with Hoka wearing out after 6 weeks. So I’m trying Altra. Paradigm 6 has a nice wide toe box, and Backcountry shipped right away. Happy so far!!

Echo max Siri six is the best shoe for running on the street. I had Achilles issues and was having a hard time running for a long distance. The shoe takes the pressure off your Achilles and your arch and makes it feel like you could run for 5 miles with no problem. I really wish they would keep the shoe and bring it back. I did not like the series 7 had no cushion and I was unable to run as far as I wanted to keep series 6 love it so much. Thank you.

One run and the heels are smooth

I have another pair of these shoes that I felt lasted not super long, but I'm marathon training so I figured I just ran in them more than I thought I did. I took these one ONE run and the heels are almost worn smooth. To be fair, it was a 20 mile run, but still. These shoes shouldn't look this used with just 20 miles on them. I'm a fairly petite female runner and these also started to kill my toes after 10 miles. They're ok on flats but they're terrible on any sort of incline or banking that you may find on roads.
