    Details

    Make your sitting-on-a-log-balancing-your-plate-in-your-lap act obsolete.

Set up the Alps Mountaineering Regular Dining Table, spread out the yummy camping food, and dig in. At 28 inches wide and 43 inches long, this camping table delivers plenty of space for a two-person chow-down. The sturdy aluminum frame holds your fireside feast, so none of it ends up feeding the ants. Easily collapse the Dining Table after dinner to prevent the raccoons from clip-clapping across it all night. When you're ready to pack up the car, Alps Mountaineering included a convenient carry bag to store this camping table.

This is the second table of the same variety that we have owned. I love the concept and the ingenuity that it is designed with. It is so easy to store since the slats fold on top of themselves. It is sturdy when it is set up. It does however take some thought as you are setting it up the first couple of times, but the learning curve is steep and quickly conquered if you read the directions. The first one of these we owned lasted for many years, then finally the elastic rope wore through. We loved it so much and missed the convenience so we asked for another.

    Great Car Camping table

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This thing sets up and takes down really easy, and packs up quite small for its size. It is stable and seems ok with 30 lbs spread out on it.

    Sturdy Camp Table

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This table sets up in seconds and collapses down to a nice, small, packable size for car camping. It's sturdy and big enough to use for food prep or for dining. I actually just used it as an extension for my dining table for Thanksgiving with great success! Would recommend.

Great table for a great price

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Alps does it again! I have used this table ever since I bought it for EVERY car camping trip I've had. The legs are firm and the table doesn't really wobble. I have tried the square version as well and it just doesn't hold the same amount as this does.
I put my Jetboil Genesis 2 system on the table with a prepping AND washing station. There is nothing quite like getting up in the morning sunlight, and cooking a full breakfast, coffee, and a campfire all because of a table to hold it all. The metal is strong and really light. The only downside to this thing is the size once all packed up. It is almost twice the size of a standard camp chair- BUT it is only because it is so durable and sturdy.

    Perfect camp table

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love this table! It packs away simply in a storage back and the back of my car when packing for camping and takes less than a minute to set up when we arrive. I love that this table is large enough for our coleman stove + food prep + space for appetizers. I found that the alps mountaineering stools are a great seat to go along with this!

    Nice table but loose elastic

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I received this just in time for a trip (thanks 2-day shipping). It was a great table but one of the elastics was loose which was a bummer. It kind of still worked but just wasn't as stable. Returning.

    Big Fan!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

It does not pack up the smallest by any means but it is super light weight, quick to set up, and offers plenty of room to cook and prep large meals!

    Car Camping Necessity!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This dining table has taken our car camping to a whole new level! It it very easy to pack with the convenient carry bag and it sets up so quickly! It is surprisingly sturdy, yet still lightweight and has plenty of room for a two-burner, cutting board and a couple glasses of wine. And you can't beat the price!

    Easy and Functional

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This table is very easy to pack up, take camping, and clean off. It is sturdy, however, due to being aluminum you just have to be more careful with it than you would be a steel table (duh).

    Functional and Sturdy Table

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I was surprised at how sturdy and stable this table was considering how much it weighs! Pretty lightweight and easy to unpack, but very stable and strong. Used it recently camping in the desert and was just as sturdy in the sand with a large camp stove, a ton of food, plates, etc on the table!

    Size is right

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

My favorite part about this table is its ability to roll up to a small size. I have another Alps Mountaineering folding table but the table-top is rigid so it still takes up space. This takes up less space in my camper rig.

    Does what is says

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is the perfect table for when you want to save a little weight and space. I last used it for a week long camp trip where I had a water jug, stove, and various cooking stuffs on it the entire time, and this thing held up great. Probably wouldn't want to put a ton of weight on it, but that's not what its for anyway.

    Great Table

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought this to use on my back deck. I didn't see the point in wasting money on some fancy patio furniture when I can have this great table to use back there, and also pack it up and go when a base camp adventure was in the works. This is the perfect table to take on car camping adventures and makes for a clean camp.

Feel free to reach directly out to me with any questions on this table or anything else at all!

how much weight will it hold?

how much weight will it hold?

I don't have specs on weight capacity, but my experience has been that I have not worried one bit about loading it up with picnic material and/or having people sit around it with their elbows leaning on it.

I'd feel safe in loading the top with four or five cases of beer all spread out... but I would not feel safe putting a 10 gallon cooler of water in one spot.

So... not a heavyweight table... but not at all fragile-feeling in normal use.

How about some detail in the descriptions...

How about some detail in the descriptions of the tables you sell. Need length, width and height on all of them along with weight and packed size. Some of the descriptions have some of this but none have all of it and many don't have much at all.
