Awesome tent

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I bought this tent for a backpacking trip & have used a bunch of times since. It is reasonably light (considering its size). It has kept me dry in the rain. I got caught in snow, and it held up. I paid full price for it, and picked up a second during a sale. Everyone who has seen this tent has been impressed. I did replace the stakes with some MSR Ground Hogs. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a roomy, durable, backpackable tent that is a great value.

Phenom 3

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Love it! sturdy tent stood up to 50 MPH winds and did not even shake. we endured 2.5 " rain and stayed dry. Six of the best pockets we have ever had. Need to work on the tabs to secure the rain fly to the cross pole. They are too small to get a secure hold of.

This tent is very easy to put up and take down and keeps you dry in heavy rains. What more can you ask for. A+ tent. I had this tent in three days after ordering with Backcountry.

Outstanding!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I wanted a robust and roomy three season tent for two people, both for backpacking and car camping, and this one has proven itself. It has sustained heavy downpour all night long and strong winds in the mountains. I can lay two 25 inch pads side by side and there's room left on the sides, and a lot of room left at the bottom of the tent for all of our gear. Ventilation is also good, materials are thick and robust, quality is good all around (I noticed one loose thread inside but that's about it). There's extra guidelines included to hunker the tent down if needed, which is a plus. If anything, I would prefer some different colors, like coyote brown or olive green. All in all, highly recommended.
