I get lots of "cool points" wearing this jacket. I don't ski or snowboard...just put it on when out and about. Very high quality and craftsmanship

Don't Buy Alps and Meters
The staff at St Regis Deer Valley wears this gear so it is obviously overpriced and does not warrant the price. DO NOT BUY!

Unique Style and Bomb Proof Fabric
I have the navy Alpine Anorak and love it. My first run the lifty commented, in the eight seasons I have been skiing at one resort I have never heard a lift operator comment on someone's apparel choice. I have had people come across the lodge just to feel the fabric of the anorak and the lead in question is always, "what is this!?" If you are looking for something unique to set you apart from the everyday Patagonia/Marmot ensemble then Alps & Meters is the brand you will want to take a serious look at. Yes the prices are in the upper echelon; however, the quality of the material, detail of the design, and functionality of each piece will warrant supporting a small start up vs. the usual behemoth. I wear a size medium which allows enough room for a puffy to be thrown on underneath for those zero degree days. The hood has ample room for a helmet and the built in face mask, or shovel as some have called it, comes in handy when you tighten the laces. It got warm at the base this past storm cycle and I stayed very dry, the waxed canvas is bullet proof for those storm skiing days.

If you have a chance to see it in person you will understand. The quality of the craftsmanship is top notch and waxed canvas fabric is bomb proof.

Waxed Canvas at its best
The jacket is well sized, comfortable and surprisingly easy to get on. Quality wise, this looks and - more importantly - feels just like my Barbour and I expect it to age just as well. This is a worthwhile investment for anyone looking for a refreshed take on a classic look.
