There are some other backpacking chili that I find are better but this is still pretty tasty.

Favorite Backpacking Meal!

This is my go-to meal for backpacking. Easy to eat and super filling. It can be hard to find freeze dried meals for lactose intolerance but this one fits the bill!

Lesson learned

This was good for a freeze dried meal. Rating is based on that. Unfortunately I and one other with this identical meal got very sick on a trip. Possibly a bad batch from the manufacturer - but lesson learned, eat safe food before you summit. Heads up if bought around May 2017

Did Emeril make this? So good I almost forgot it was space food (and vegetarian). This is one of the best ones I tasted out of all of them. Next time, I'm only going to by this!

Hearty and tasty
A really good meatless chili. So filling you won't miss the meat and spicy enough to keep it interesting. All in all a totally satisfying meal.
