Nice design!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

This is a superior design for Oar Rights compared to the standard NRS offering. The convex surface that abuts the Oar lock allows the oars to be conveniently 'shipped' under your knees with little effort. More importantly, they smoothly transition between strokes and extracting the blades out of the water to recover for the next pull. Now we just need them in a convertible model for those windy days rowing our across the flatwater.

Well made Oar Rights

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

I wish I could tell you that I used these, but I had to return them due to I ordered the wrong size, my oars are smaller than the Large size I ordered, but... that being said, these seemed to be very well made, nice and thick, solid, the return process was painless... very easy , the young man I was in contact with was so nice. I would definitely use this company again.

Great oar rights

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

These work great if you want a plastic sleeve and rowing with oar rights. If you sinch them down tight, they don't spin. They are easy to remove though if you do want a feathering option. I've got a pair always in my rig bag.

Don't worry about your feather

I can see when feathering is nice but during power pulls save your grip strength for the pull and not preventing rotation.

Used commercially on Colorado

Maybe its cause I'm not old school but these are a must with heavy loads. The only time didn't prefer these was on a paddle assist frame with paddlers. I never had a problem with these moving around or slipping when I didn't want them to. A benefit of these is when it is really windy and you want to feather you can pull the rite out of the oar lock, rotate the blade 180 degrees and you now have feathering oars with handles 6 inches or so closer to each other.

I'm sure he meant 90 degrees. (180 degrees would put blades back to vertical.

works great

Familiarity:

bought them to use on my river boat. works great, you can worry about looking for fish and looking for Bonks, and not worry about blade angle and if you need to for finesse just pull in and turn

Locked and Loaded

I've heard the opposition, but I'm a big fan of putting my power where the push and pull needs to be, especially in the wilderness of Idaho.

Are these oar stops sold in pairs or as singles? thanks

These are sold individually.

sometimes I wish they were sold in pairs, just so I would have an extra on board, but since you normally only carry one spare oar on most trips, it makes sense that they are sold individually.
