    Invincible protection.

Seal out cold drafts and waist-deep snow with the fortress-like protection of the Airblaster Women's Sassy Beast Suit. This tailored one-piece suit keeps you completely dry when you're riding the deepest powder and wettest springtime snow. Representing the pinnacle of protection in Airblaster's line, the suit's Vortex membrane provides exceptional waterproofing, as backed by its 30k waterproof rating. It's also highly breathable, preventing you from soaking in perspiration on warmer spring days and demanding uphill tours. Add in fully taped seams and the moisture-shedding performance of its Aquapel DWR treatment for the highest level of waterproofing available.

This one-piece suit features a two-way zipper along the center front for super-quick on and off. Its 350-degree waist zipper makes bathroom pit stops a breeze. Mesh-lined underarm and thigh vents enhance thermo-regulation, quickly cooling your body during warmer spring sessions and strenuous backcountry outings. Other comfort-enhancing features include Swag cuff openings for easy fitment over your boots, elastic gaiters that seal out snow from working inside, as well as a fully adjustable hood for extra coverage on stormy days. Plus, you'll find a host of functional pockets for storing everything needed on the mountain, including a lower-leg stash pocket for hiding cash, keys, and other must-haves. As if that's not enough, this one-piece suit sports a Best Media port for switching up playlists and taking calls.

    Have questions about this product?

    Not for me

I love skiing in one pieces and had high hopes this would be another to add to my collection but I had to return it. The torso was way to long, it was fitted around the legs but super baggy up on the top.

      Weird Sizing on Great Product

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
      • Fit: Runs small
      • Size Bought: Large
      • Height: 5'9"
      • Weight: 190lbs

If you go to airblaster's website and look at their sizing chart (which is the same as backcountry's with more detail in measurements) you may discover, like I did, that the measurements were really weird. Buying the size for my bust and waist put me well above the proper measurement for my inseam; despite the fact that I normally wear 10-12s the chart suggested what would be a 14-16 for my height and weight. Whatever, though, right? The material was wonderful and the suit was just what I wanted.

I ended up getting the large since it fit my bust, waist, and dress size measurements. Unfortunately, despite being quite baggy around my midsection, bust, and shoulders, it is almost unusably tight around my hips. The thighs are actually OK, but for some reason from my crotch to right below my belly button is super tight-- I can't actually pull the suit up enough to make it flush with my inseam. I imagine the XL would be outrageous around my torso, however, since there's already an inch or so of free space around my waist.

For the record, I am pretty hourglass shaped. My hips actually have the same measurement as my bust, so I feel somewhat like this suit has masculine measurements. The hips are very slim, the waist is wider, and the bust and shoulders are wider still. Also important to note is that I can fit it on with base and mid layers on my legs, but my range of motion is limited. As for the torso: I had underarmor, a shirt, a sweater, and a liner coat on without even filling it out all the way.

I actually won't have a chance to use it for a few months and I've been losing weight on a trend lately so I'm not going to return it yet (given backcountry's nice return policy and the excellent quality of the materials and construction) but if I haven't slimmed down enough to use it on a trip I'm definitely returning it in February.

      functional and fun!

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
      • Fit: Runs small
      • Size Bought: Medium
      • Height: 5'6"
      • Weight: 130lbs

I wore this for the first time today snowboarding on a 20F degree day and I stayed cozy. And I got stares (in a good way) all day. It is super comfy with room to move. At 5'6" and 130 lb I am usually a small, but I looked at the sizing chart and the medium was perfect. Legs are a little slim compared to most snowboarding pants so bear this in mind, also, I have no butt whatsoever, and it may be snug if you do. but I think if you follow the size guide you will be fine. It does not have a fitted waist and looks kind of like a stylish mechanic's suit on, but I am in love with it! I cannot wait to ride on a powder day and be able to keep the snow out of my pants! Yay!

      Awesome Suit!

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: Large
      • Height: 5'4"
      • Weight: 160lbs

For years I have tried to find the perfect pants and jacket for snowboarding. I've always felt uncomfortable while riding. Either resticted and uncomfortable, or constantly hiking up my pants and readjusting my layers while in the lift line. This is the first time in my 20 years of riding that I have been totally unaware of my outerwear because it is so comfortable! The suit is a flattering fit without looking baggy and sloppy or too fitted and tight. The zipper for bathroom breaks was awesome! I was skeptical at first, but it was super easy to unzip and zip. Honestly, easier and more convenient than pants and jacket. The black print looks great! It is subtle, yet gives the suit added style. I was worried it would look like I was wearing a kids snowsuit, but it has the look of separate pants and jacket which is nice. The suit was warm enough with proper layering. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because the torso and legs are too long. I could make it work with snowboard boots on, but the crotch was a little saggy. I am 5'4" and 160 lbs and the large fit perfectly (other than length) with room for base layers and mid layers. Also, all the hidden pockets were perfect for phone, energy bar, keys and wallet without feeling bulky or bulgy. Overall, this suit is one of the best purchases I've ever made! Warm, comfortable, slimming and awesome!

Sadly, I didn't get to try this beauty in the snow. The torso and legs were too long.
