Adidas updated their beloved road runner once again for 2022 by giving the Ultraboost 22 Running Shoe a complete 360-degree female fit improvement. The iterations before this version were already incredibly comfortable, but the custom fit and re-engineered rubber outsole bring 4% more forefoot energy return than last year's model. The supportive, mostly-mesh PrimeKnit upper grants a secure fit that's intended for comfort through the miles while also reducing its environmental impact thanks to it being made up of 50% recycled plastic ocean waste.

Like walking - and running - on air
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these for running 5-10k having previously worn out a pair of Adidas Questar (which were excellent but fancied a change). These look good with subtle flash of colour - not too garish - but more importantly my feet feel supported when running and there's a nice bounce that gives a feeling of lightness with no jarring on joints. Detail on rear ankle provides extra support (and aids when pulling on shoes) and inside shoe is smooth, no irritations. Knitted upper so moulds to fit feet, so no pinching. First few runs were impressive - looking forward to taking them on longer outings.

Take out the insoles if you have wide feet!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Despite being a 5.5 in a previous model of Ultraboosts, the first time I wore these, I got terrible pins and needles in my feet, indicating they were too tight. I then tried all the way up to a size 7 and had the same problem. After researching online, I read if you have wide feet, you should take the insoles out - they aren't attached and slip right out. Suddenly, these were super comfy, fit perfectly and caused no pins and needles. Adidas should be highlighting this on their size guide and when you order! I almost gave up on this shoe model.
