Put some dirt beneath your feet.
When you're hungry for fresh mountain air and tacky trails, lace up the Adidas Men's Kanadia 7 GTX Running Shoe and hit the trail running. With a lightweight construction and aggressive tread pattern, the Kanadia is well suited to handle the technical trails you love to run, while a Gore-Tex waterproof and breathable insert ensures your feet and socks stay dry from rain, mud, and sweat. Even though the Kanadia isn't quite as rugged as the shoes in Adidas' Terrex line,it is significantly lighter (about three ounce per shoe) and has a slightly more breathable mesh upper for added comfort during those hot mid-summer days. The Kanadia is also home to a Traxion rubber sole for solid and reliable performance on everything from slick mud to packed-out dirt.

Good for Runners

I used this shoe for a short adventure race right out of the box and it did well. I would not recommend it as a walking/hiking shoe because it doesn’t have the stability and support (comfort is ok). What it does have is an amazing amount of traction underfoot in many conditions (was on granite, mud, sand and snow). It also has a snug fit (runs a bit small), so you’ll get excellent grip and precise foot placement on technical terrain.
Felt solid, but poor details.
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: Runs small
I bought these shoes for shorter day hikes. Went on a couple easy walks outside the car and the bottom lace loop detached. Which is an important one.
Soles felt good but will probably go another direction other then Adidas for hiking shoes.
