Endless space.

If you're like us, you spend as much time on the bike as possible. Sometimes that means exploring into the beyond for a week, or three on an epic bikepacking adventure. Pack in everything you need for your adventures with the Ace Pac Saddlebag. This lofty bag offers a whopping 16-liters of space to stash everything from an extra fleece, to two-weeks worth of MREs. Its built with durability in mind, with Cordura Ecomade Ripstop that's coated with PU for water resistance making up the main body, and Tarpaulin at the bottom, topped with non-slip Hypalon near the saddle, seatpost, and bottom to stand up to abrasion and stay locked into place.

Like other Ace Pac bags, the Saddle Bag comes equipped with a completely waterproof nylon ripstop liner that fits snugly inside when you're embarking on adventures to the Pacific North West, but it can be easily left at home when you're heading to the San Rafael Swell for a dry and dusty weekend in the desert. The bag secures in place with three different straps made of Hypalon, with a backup Hypalon flap that helps cinch things down for a slip-free ride. Two straps secure to your seat post, while the third sits on top and holds tight to the rails of your saddle while you ride. Keeping your gear wobble-free are three compression straps made from recycled polypropylene that buckle for easy grip, and make it easy to adjust the bag size as your snag supply starts to dwindle and space frees up. Because you can never have enough space for gear, the Saddle Bag comes equipped with four straps on top, each with three loops, to attach your lights, an extra windbreaker, and your signature titanium mug.

Fantastic Bag

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought this for my boyfriend, here is his review,"Fantastic bag that holds plenty of gear without swaying back and forth or even noticeable. The bag prevents the use of your dropper post, but as do most bags. The bag cinches down and keeps everything tight and has gear loops to attach things to the external side as well."

Good and simple

I've used it several times

The bag is good for my use (packing a clipboard and change of clothes and lunch). There are no bells and whistles though, I found that I would like to have additional pockets or an easier way to strap a rear light to it. I have longer legs and the bag takes up almost all of the exposed seat post leaving me no where but the bag to connect a light. This bag would be a little awkward to just run errands with, but it does a good job at holding a ton for long hauls.

Would this bag be suitable for a road bike with a carbon seat post? I am wondering if there is a weight limit? I would use it primarily for errands/hauling a few groceries.

You can use this on a carbon seat post. A good amount of Carbon fiber seatposts have a weight limit. I would add the maximum weight you would haul in this to your body weight then apply that to the weight limit of your post.
