    Better than the Two.

Designed for riders who truly shred hard on every aspect of the mountain, the Men's TM-Three Lace Snowboard Boot holds your foot down with comfort and control through parks laps and technical steeps alike. The medium flex offers a tweakable, yet responsive feel, suites for those that lap the cliffs and trees in the morning, and then the park in the afternoon. With a reinforced back, tough-as-nails shell, and STI energy outsole, this boot is a must for those that rip all types of terrain.

The Exo Armor shell is reinforced with a Storm Shield coating for durable protection on some of winter's snowiest days, while the customizable Recoil Flex Control inserts help you transition from park to peak. The Elite harness liner is engineered to be taller and more supportive for you to hit any terrain with confidence, while its thermo-moldable design conforms to your foot's exact shape for a fit that's made just for you. Adaptive arch support furthers your boot's customizable design, giving you support throughout the season, and the high-energy STI Foam in the sole dampens harsh impacts and chatter when ripping at high speeds.

    Excellent fit and predictable flex

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've spent 15 days in this boot, and have very positive initial impressions. I've traditionally been a Burton guy (Rulers, Ions, SLX), and also tried this season's Thirtytwo Binary BOAs. In my experience, I found that both speedlace and BOA systems loosened up throughout the day, and Burton liners were lasting a season or less before packing out considerably. While it seemed odd to go back to traditional laces, the general feedback I found both online and with shop guys was that laces were still the best at holding their ground. And now, after a few weeks, I fully agree. We'll see at the end of the season how the liners are doing.

While I initially found them to be ultra stiff and tall, a few days (and the custom molding) broke them in very well. I would also strongly suggest that if you have this boot, go to the trouble of baking the liners and custom molding them. After about 5 days, the flex mellowed, I got them heat molded, and the custom-fit made a significant difference in comfort.

Overall, they have a very predictable and progressive medium flex, the heel hold is good, and they stay tight through a day of riding. They fit both Burton bindings and Union bindings well: sole fits baseplate; heel fits heel cup; straps are balanced. My size 10 Thirtytwo's fit just like the Burton size 10's, and I have medium in both bindings.

    All Mountain Comfort

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is the ultimate all mountain boot; the medium flex provides support when conditions get rough, yet remains comfortable after a long day on the mountain. The heat moldable liner ensures a perfect fit on day one and the Exo Armor shell will keep these boots riding strong for many seasons to come.
