Move with it.
You know the old joke: if it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, etc. Well, just because you protect yourself from the sun with the Patagonia Duckbill Camp doesn't mean you're going to turn into a mobile mallard. This ultralight cap dries in a flash, and its mesh panels prevent your head from pruning from excess sweat. The Coolmax sweatband keeps your eyes free from drips.
- A lightweight running cap for training jogs in the sun
- Coolmax sweatband wicks moisture to keep you dry
- Dark underbill reduces glare from the sun
- Lightweight design can be folded up to stash in a pocket
- Fabric is bluesign approved
- Item #PAT027U

Washable and durable!
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
One of my favorite hats! I've owned the Patagonia Duckbill for over 3 years. I have a smaller build, and this hat fit perfectly. Not only is it super lightweight, but I have washed it over a dozen times, while thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail, and its still holding on strong. Hat keeps you cool with a ventilated back, and breathable nylon.
Excellent for hiking, cycling, and around town. Lots of compliments and questions about whether this hat is vintage! Neat find.
Just not for me
I love the duckbill trucker, but the cap just didnt work for me. I really love the design but the floppy bill and low profile fit just didn't work for my large head and long hair. I know previous versions of this hat had a stiffer bill, so someday when Patagonia switches back or I cut off all my hair I will give it another shot
Cool! literally and figuratively!
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
This hat is great for those hot days where you need some ventilation. you can dip it in a river or just let the vents do their job. The fact that it's also so cute is a bonus! i've been really happy with this purchase, and it has been my go to hat on the river.
super light weight, but small bill
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
I wanted to love this hat. I bought it for trail running. I wanted something breathable that would offer some protection for my eyes and face, but the sizing felt a little weird on my head.
It was super light weight and obviously really breathable., but... it just didn't fit right on my head . I didn't have the chance to go running with it , but just trying it on at home didn't feel right. It felt like it was going to blow off my head -- even when I adjusted the strap in the back. I also felt that the bill was a little small, like it wouldn't protect that much of my face.
great summer active hat
This is a great hat to use for your active days in the hot summer heat. It helps block the sun from your face, but also isn't restricting and doesn't make your head hot.
