    Nano Puff Insulated Pullover

Pull the Patagonia Nano Puff Insulated Pullover out your pack and layer up for climbs up cold chimneys and powder runs down freshly skinned summits. The lightweight, recycled polyester shell offers tough wind-resistance, while the DWR treatment sheds light precipitation and keeps you comfortable in the face of passing rain or unexpected snow. Additionally, the Nano Puff is constructed with compressible 60g PrimaLoft Gold Eco insulation, which retains 98% of its warmth when wet. The brick quilting pattern may look like just a pretty face with horizontal quilt lines on side panels, but it prevents cold channels and insulation shift. If you start to work up some heat, dumping excess body heat is a breeze thanks to the deep center-front zipper, and when it's time to stow it back in your pack you can stuff it down into its chest own pocket.

    • Lightweight, insulated pullover for all of your alpine pursuits
    • Recycled polyester shell has DWR to shed light rain and snow
    • PrimaLoft Gold Eco insulation keeps you warm even when wet
    • Elastic cuffs and hem keep cold winds out on solitary summits
    • Chest pocket doubles as a stuff sack for ultimate packability
    • Since the 1980s, Patagonia has created trustworthy, high-performance clothing for your outdoor pursuits
    • Item #PAT01I5

    Lightweight, warm, packsdown

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 6'0"
    • Weight: 145lbs

I'm a climber and this jacket is perfect. It's extremely light, packs down to a tiny size, and keeps me warm. It does a good job of protecting me from the wind as well. The fit allows me to move freely and reach for high holds without limiting my movement

I've worn this in the 30's with just a shirt underneath and it's kept me toasty. I love this jacket for overnight trips.

My only problem with this jacket is that it doesn't feel tough, I usually wear a light shell over it so it doesn't get snagged on rocks or branches. Then again this jacket was never meant to be a shell.

    Feels like fall

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

The perfect outer layer for a chilly fall morning. I have worn it many times around town and it has been a great outer-layer for temps in the low 40s. I envision it being a great base under a shell jacket once it gets colder!

    Patagonia Nano Puff Pullover

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 5'10"
    • Weight: 180lbs

Overall, I really like the Patagonia Nano Puff Pullover. Purchased my first many years ago and now have many. Seems like I buy a new one yearly. Originally purchased it so the pet hair would not be attracted to it like my fleece pullover. Everyday wear around the house and travels throughout winter. Prefer the pullover, rather than full zipper jacket. Heat is easily regulated with half zipper. Front chest pocket is a plus for holding things temporarily while on the move (e.g., keys, glasses, tools, etc.). Always travel with one. Also, have an extra one in the truck ditch bag (along with hat, gloves, etc.).

    Positives:
    Extremely light and warm
Does not attract dog hair (unlike fleece which is a magnet)
Easy to pack into the chest pocket - Toss into a pack or bag
Chest pocket is nice to hold things when moving about
    Washes easily and dries quickly

    Negatives:
    Doesn't holdup to heavy wear
Collar around chin area worn through from couple day beard growth
Sparks will melt through jacket quickly leaving a hole

Guessing here, maybe what makes it so great - light, warm, easy to pack, etc.; is the source of the abrasion issues and lack of fire retardant. Life is often a tradeoff and will put up with the downside since I enjoy the upside of the Nano Puff so much.

    Super piece of gear!

    • Size Bought: XL
    • Height: 5'11"

The Nano Puff is the best 10oz in my pack light, very warm, durable and sheds snow and light mist and rain. It's my "go to" for most everything and replaces my sweatshirts with a lot more style. I like more room so bought an XL.

Can't go wrong with the Nano Puff

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 6'1"
    • Weight: 200lbs

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend but I also have a nano puff of my own. It is my favorite layering and daily wear jacket. It seems thin but I find that it always keeps me warm and it is easy to fit under a ski jacket. I use this jacket when I go touring and for early morning hikes.
Also when it gets dirty it is really easy to clean. You don't have to worry about messing up any down because the nano puff is synthetic. Just wash it on a gentle cold cycle.
Great jacket! I highly recommend it.

    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: medium
    • Height: 5'10"

Practically live in this. Packs very small, incredibly versatile. The only thing that would make this better would be to have little bit of stretch in the elbow and along the side. Must have article in your closet... except that it won't be in your closet as you will always have it on or have it in your pack.

    Patagonia Nano Puff Insulated Pullover

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

A great mid layer or as a stand alone jacket for the town or trail. It won't block rain or snow, but the synthetic insulation still retains heat if it does get wet. This pullover version adds a bit of comfort and cleans up the front. I do wish it had hand pockets or a pouch though.

    Quality jacket

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 175lbs

I would have gave this 5 stars but it just don't fit me that good. I'm 5'8" 175lbs. I ordered a medium first and it fit everywhere but the chest. i sent the medium back and ordered a large. The large is to big in the waiste and way to long in the arms. I'm keeping the large because I like the jacket. This jacket is not made to fit stocky guys.

    Super Thin Super Warm

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'7"
    • Weight: 165lbs

Got this as a gift, feedback was - Love it. Incredibly light, incredibly thin. Heats up really quickly and cools down enough if need be with a varying level of zip. Adds no weight to the pack, can wear it casually, looks like a million bucks.

    Awesome high quality jacket!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 6'3"
    • Weight: 160lbs

I love this jacket, it's super lightweight, but still quite warm, and looks awesome. Normally I would wear a Large in most jackets, but I wear a Medium in Patagonia, as their sleeves run long and the relaxed fit works well.

Just what I was looking for...

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 6'1"
    • Weight: 135lbs

This thing is light and warm! Fits true to size and feels great. It’s very packable for when you need to shed some layers while hiking or for throwing in your touring pack. I bought a Patagonia Torrentshell Jacket to wear over the Nano Puff when it rains in the fall or early spring. They work perfectly in combination with each other.

Excellent jacket for a wide range of tem

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 5'11"
    • Weight: 180lbs

I love this jacket. I am unfortunately between sizes and had to size up so it fits a little loose. Still makes for a great layering piece and provides the protection needed without sacrificing weight. The long front zipper allows for dumping heat and I feel like I am able to regulate my temp fairly well in this jacket and not take it off every time the sun comes out. The fit is a little boxy. The front pocket is great but it weighs down the front of the jacket and rides up on your neck. These definitely don't outweigh the positives of this jacket. Highly recommend.

Go-to for a variety of conditions

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: XL
    • Height: 6'4"
    • Weight: 210lbs

The weight of this pullover is great for many different uses. It's light enough to wear casually on a cool night, but the insulation is such that it's also perfect for cold conditions if you're moving at all. I like to wear it under a shell as an insulating layer when skiing. It's comfortable enough to sleep in when camping, as well. The stow pocket lets me pack it down (grapefruit size) and toss it in the pack when on the go. I like knowing that Patagonia will repair it at their facility if I ever do manage to tear it.

Super warm and space saving in the pack

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: medium
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 170lbs

I actually have the special edition, but the functionality of the piece is the same. The only difference was the outer material on the special edition is slightly lighter. It is incredibly warm, whether as a layering piece or an outer layer and is wind and water resistant. It is pretty nifty in the sense it can pack into the chest pocket, or you can just stuff it into the nooks and crannies of your pack to maximize space. The fit is pretty spot on as well, I am 5'8", 170lbs and went with a medium. I can throw it on over a hardshell or wear it as a layering piece and still not feel like the michelin man or feel overly squeezed. I have a patagonia hooded merino 3 and a Patagonia super cell pac lite hardshell on underneath the nano puff in this picture
