Best Sock Ever!
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Absolutely love these socks, They are perfect for hiking! I wear a size 6.5-7.0 in shoes and a small fits me perfectly. I recommend the cushion ones always it isn't too much cushion but makes your feet feel better after a long day on them. Darn Tough socks are the most comfortable socks and wouldn't buy a different brand ever!
Good cushioning and breathable
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I bought these specifically to wear under my short Hunter rain boots when I go to festivals. The rubber boots tent to rub against the back of my calves when I wear them with shorter socks, so I needed something that would protect that area but not necessarily be a knee sock. These are perfect! They are cushiony and supportive which definitely makes my boots more comfortable for longer wear, and they are just the right height to protect my calves without sticking up too far over the top of my boots (I'm a size 9 shoe and bought the M; the socks stick up maybe 1/2" over the top of my boot). I was a little worried with the wool and rubber that my feet might get too warm to wear these during summer concerts, but they did a great job regulating the temp so my feet never felt hot or sweaty.
