    Rope dragging you down?

Black Diamond's Dynex 10mm Sewn Runners weigh 30% less than nylon runners to save weight on your rack for both summer and winter climbing. In addition to a low weight, Dynex runners also have less bulk, so they don't take up as much space on your rack, in your pack, and over your shoulder. They also absorb less water than nylon and don't freeze—obvious benefits for ice and alpine climbing. You need runners for just about every climb, so use these ultralight ones from Black Diamond.

    Very Solid

Believe the hype. These are great runners compared to nylon. Light weight, strong and easy to carry. I bought a couple of 60 cm for anchors and ended up buying 120cm later so I would definitely recommend getting a few different sizes on your purchase.

    Great Product

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

About 2 years ago I switched all of my alpine draws over to these slings. It was the best decision I have ever made. Switching from Nylon slings to Dynex helped to lighten and condense my alpine rack.

    My go-to

Slings are a must have for climbers and canyoneers. They have so many uses and make life easier. I prefer these BD slings for their streamlined construction and have owned quite a few. I like the thinness and durability. And they have been tested for years by climbers everywhere so you definitely can't go wrong with this sling in all lengths. BD knows their slings ;)

    Top notch

Look no further. Do yourself a favor and get one in each size. You'll use them someday. Get a couple 30s and a couple 60s. Thank me later.

    Safe Climbing!!

    The perfect sling?

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

There's a reason just about everybody has one of these! Black Diamond really hit the nail on the head with this one, and designed a lightweight sling with all the features 95% of climbers are looking for. Ultralight, durable, and stronger than 27 oxen, there's no reason not to have these slings on your rack. My favorite length is the 240cm, which is great for building trad anchors with more than two pieces and also works well for a quad anchor on bolts.

    Well made and durable

These are light weight dyneema 60cm slings. I've found that I prefer these over the Mammut Contact 8.0 slings as they appear to be more durable and last longer. When my contact slings wear out they will all be replaced these dynex runners.

      Unanswered Question

Does the length refer to the full length of the runner (as if you cut the runner and measured the full length of the dynex), or length from looped end to looped end when doubled (like from biner to biner)? Thanks
