Women's bib shorts are, lets face it, often designed around the men. This means awkward straps that don't quiet pair with our anatomy, and some weird finagling that has to be done when you're on the bike. When the designers at 7 Mesh spotted this flaw, they sat down, took some time, and committed to doing us right, and so they bring us the new WK2 Bib Short for Women. Designed for us, with details that matter and improve the feel, and utility on the bike bu combining an exceptional fit with nature-break convenience on the road.
To start the bib off right, the WK2 is crafted from Miti Performer fabric that tapers to your natural curves for a comfortable and flattering fit. Its strategic paneling gives your muscles a supportive hug, while keeping seams away from sensitive skin. Inside, you'll find a top-level Elastic Interface Road Performance Max chamois, which allows total freedom of movement in the saddle thanks to its generous stretch, while cushioning you from rough and chattery roads. 7 Mesh tops the chamois off with Clean Finish Construction, which claims to eliminate chafe points and hot spots, and finishes the legs with clean, laser-cut hems and bonded grippers to keep things locked into place while you ride.
But the hilight of these bibs is perhaps one of the more functional features put into a women's bib, 7 Mesh's Pull2P technology, which takes a look at bib strap placement, altering their positioning to not only fit smoothly against your skin, but make for — ahem, more simple nature calls. The careful design and materials selection makes bathroom breaks easy and quick, without the need to remove your jersey and drop your shoulder straps. The soft-stretch bib straps are attached to the outside edge of the rear, rather than center back, providing length and clearance. This is paired with a wide, yoga-style waistband, so you don't have to worry about things shifting and moving around once you're back on the bike.

7 Mesh Fail
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I generally like all things Canadian and had high hopes for these bibs as 7 Mesh seems to be out for innovation, but these are a major fail. I had to size up to a medium because the smalls were way smaller than a small. I was able to get the mediums on and gave them a go only to discover that the leg gripper is really not any good at gripping. I spent a lot of the ride rolling and pulling my shorts down. Major fail and I am sending these back.
