In summary, this is a great helmet for the price range. I bought it because it offers good protection for the price as it is downhill certified to ASTM F1952 – 15 standards. Additionally, this helmet is really well ventilated. I have already used it on some Texas trails this summer, and it keeps me nice and cool here in the summer (as much as I can in the Texas heat). Buying Tips: BE SURE TO CHECK THE SIZING CHART on the manufacturer's website. In most helmets, I wear a size large. However, according to these sizings, I wear a size small. The sizing chart is correct because a size small fits me perfectly. Also BACKCOUNTRY, please update the IMPACT FOAM description of this product. I can confirm that this helmet does not use the "SERT (Seven Energy Reduction Technology)" as listed. After talking with the manufacturer, SERT is only available on the Fiberglass & Carbon versions of the helmet, not the ABS one here.

I have not been out riding with this helmet to often but so far no problems. It is not as heavy as I expected it to be especially for the price. The head measurement worked out fine for me.
