    This jacket is thrilling!

The material is very movable and soft, while still being very water repellant. It's also got special insulation that makes it very easy to be the temperature that you desire. The wrist gators fit perfectly without any extra bulk that would have to be shoved into the glove. There is also a subtle lip on the edge of the sleeve that makes it so much easier to velcro the sleeves closed around your glove. It's got all of the pockets that you could desire, on top of the special smartphone pocket that has a window that you cannot only see your screen through but operate it as well!

I wore this jacket out snowshoeing on a 30 degree, sunny day out in the mountains and actually got too warm on the summit and had to unzip to let some cool air in - I was wearing a basic cotton t-shirt under it so nothing too heavy - this jacket is warm (trust me, coming from a SoCal native, it's a big deal that I got warm in this jacket). I loved how deep the pockets were - I was able to stuff my gloves in them without zipping them and wasn't worried about them falling out on the summit (though all the pockets are zippered). The chest pocket was big enough to zip my iphone 6 in so I had easy enough access to my phone for pictures along the way.
This jacket hit just slightly past my hips which I actually really like because it allows me to wear around town without making me feel like I'm a noob wearing a snowboarding jacket. I got the small and I was happy with my ability to move and the fit, but someone with similar dimensions to me may want to go with a medium if they want to wear bulkier layers underneath or want more of a standard, loose snowboard jacket look.
