Why We Like The 686 Quantum Hydrastash Thermagraph Bib Pant

686 thought of it all when designing their Quantum Hydrastash Thermagraph Bib Pant. The 20K membrane and fully sealed seams keep us dry in puking powder, while the insulated seat and knees give us a boost of warmth where we need it most. The hem's snap-closure gusset makes sliding over our boots a breeze, while the integrated gaiter keeps the deep stuff out yet still lets us make quick boot fit adjustments through its Boa window. When charging hard, the stretch fabric and articulated fit let us move freely, as the mesh-lined thigh vents expel excess heat without letting spray in. The most exciting part is the complete hydration system that lets us sip on the go without a pack slowing us down.

This Bib does its job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Bib does its job well while maintaining plenty of space to eliminate excess heat. I own plenty of 686 gear and if I had not lost 50 pounds I would not replace any of it. It looks good, has durability and everyone knows they have high quality. When you’re on hill you look like you should be on the hill and know what you’re doing. 686 4 life.

Perfect Bib

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lightweight, good zippers, warm enough for winter but not too warm for spring. Water bladder is a big bonus for staying out on the mountain longer.

I’ve been looking for bibs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been looking for bibs with a water bladder and this one fits the bill! Also, the feel and quality is amazing. You can’t go wrong with 686 gear. The large size fit me great, I was able to move around very easily and layer clothes.

Great Insulated Bibs

Bought these to have an insulated bib for inbounds riding. I'm 5'7" 135 lbs and bought size small. The bibs are quite large around the waist and crouch, but the waist can be cinched up with the internal waist adjustment. The crouch is not as big an issue with snowboard boots on. Overall, they are slightly large for my preferred fit, but they are comfortable nonetheless. Love the entrance of these bibs compared to the side entrance of most bibs. I really appreciate all the pockets, especially the rear pockets as most brands don't include them on bibs or most snow pants these days. All the pockets are zipper secured which is also great. The hydrastash feature fits seamlessly into the bibs and I hardly notice it's there. Now maybe I'll actually hydrate with something other than beer.

Nice pants but hydration is horrible

The bibs are great. Plenty of pockets with zippers on the right place. I primarily purchased these for the hydration but the bladder & tube/bite valve sucks. The bv leaks easily & the tubing is small diameter. Good concept but they have to reengineer that. Insulation is just right & in good locations.

Love love love the water bladder!

I'd been wanting bibs for a while, and when I heard about the hydrostash, I knew I had to have these! Hauling water on the mountain is something that always annoyed me. I don't always want to carry a backpack, but that seemed like the only solution. The hydrostash is a gamechanger. No more dehydrated runs when I'm sick of wearing a backpack. Plus they are so warm and waterproof! When I bought them, they only had a size XL left. I would normally have ordered a medium, but honestly I'm kinda digging the baggy fit. Just adjusting the shoulder straps makes it so that they aren't falling off me.

Hydra stash seems to be faulty

Great bib fits great but the hydratsash is already leaking after 2 days of use.
