GLCR Gore-Tex Paclite Multi Shell Jacket
Designed for do-it-all versatility, the 686 GLCR Gore-Tex Paclite Multi Shell Jacket is your new trail to town to train to terminal jacket. 686 knows that you don't limit yourself to one activity or one climate, so they made you a jacket that you can take anywhere for just about any activity. It starts with Gore-Tex Paclite, a lightweight and breathable Gore-Tex fabric that's ideal for packing down and stuffing into a pack or suitcase. This totally waterproof fabric actually packs down into the included stuff sack to be about the size of a large water bottle, so you can toss it in a day pack and bring it along on windy summit pushes.
When you find the weather drying up on winding hiking trails you don't even need to pack the whole jacket away. It's equipped with a removable Cross Strap System that lets you clip in pack straps and carry the jacket on your back, so you can keep it close by when rainy weather returns. Two oversized chest pockets double as airy mesh-lined vents that let you welcome in cool air when you start to overheat, while the merino-wool lining on the inner collar delivers optimal comfort in both warm and cold weather, making this jacket an essential part of any journey.

Super light Pacalite is amazing, i highly recommend it. After owning multiple Volcom, Oakley and arcteryx jackets I have concluded this jacket is the best lightweight jacket I have owned. The water water resistance is unmatched as well as the pockets function very well for touring.

Swiss Army knife of jackets
This jacket RULES! I initially purchased this jacket to take with me on bike-packing adventures, and ended up using it for that and so much more. It’s great for splitboarding, the two massive chest vents make it easy to cool off, and it has these cool straps on the inside of the jacket that allow you to drape the jacket on your back if you get way too hot. Although it does not have wrist gaiters, it features a thumb loop at the end of each sleeve to help prevent your sleeves from moving up and exposing your wrists. It also has a roomy hood with a storm cinch. All of the zipper pulls are glove friendly. If you’re looking for a jacket that can handle any situation and pack down small, this is the one! I wear a medium in most of the 686 GLCR series, but I had to size up to a large with this one to get the fit I wanted. I wouldn’t necessarily say it runs small, but if you plan to be moving around a lot in it or layering under it, deff size up.

Works everywhere and anywhere
This is my go-to camping jacket, biking jacket, splitboarding jacket, raincoat, pretty much anything on the go. Its super lightweight and fits in any bag too, so its easy to take with you and will 100% keep you dry if you get caught in a monsoon. I also love the huge vent dumps for splitboarding to ditch heat and keep cool, and they double as a pocket so you can fit a bunch of random things in there as they are HUGE pockets. The jacket doesn't fit as long as standard 686 jackets for fitting better on bikes or moving around/hiking.

Light weight & durable, I'm a huge fan of this Gore-tex Paclite jacket!! I use this jkt for so many things from Snowboarding & Splitboarding in the Spring to Mountain biking, Hiking, Camping and casually around town on rainy or windy days! It's fully Waterproof and Breathable and packs down real small in it's own stuff sack for travel. I've worn this jacket to a bunch of Red Rocks Concerts and to a few Football games, The Backpack straps are great whether using them while touring and skinning up hill or while your carrying beers to your friends at the game after the sun pops back out but you don't want to wear or hold onto your jkt. I also use it while biking around town in the fall when it starts to cool off, this jacket is super versatile and durable!! It's a must have peace!
